This chalet was exactly as described and more. Well stocked kitchen, lots of quality cooking equipment a wide range of spices (I had forgotten those). Warm, cozy living room with two great bedrooms and bathrooms. All well kept, clean and ever worked just great. I will definitely keep on my repeat list for the future.

It was a very nice vacation rental with almost all the amenities that a family with kids can need. The owner took extra care to make sure there are multiple toys, play cribs, kitchen appliances, dishes etc that made our stay much more relaxed and enjoyable. The things are vey well labeled and makes it easy to find/use. Will definitely recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the chalet in Yosemite, and I can't say enough good things about it. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a custom mug from the owners, welcoming us to the rental. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to all the major attractions in the park. The rental itself was immaculate and well-maintained, providing all the comforts of home. The spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms made our stay incredibly enjoyable. There is even a charger for those with EV cars. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings added to the overall charm of the place. One of the highlights were the various games/activities found within the chalet. After a long day of hiking, we were able to unwind and enjoy each other’s company playing board games. My daughter (4) particularly enjoyed all of the toys that she can play with! The owner and property manager were incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring that our visit was smooth and stress-free. They provided us with valuable information about the best hiking trails, dining options, and other activities in the area. In summary, our stay here in Yosemite was nothing short of amazing. The stunning location, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service made it a truly memorable experience. We can't wait to return and make more cherished memories in this incredible place. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful week at the Chalet in Yosemite West. First, I can't believe everyone doesn't stay in Yosemite West when traveling to the park. Second, this home is immaculate with all of the amenities. The hosts have provided everything one could imagine. Modern gas stove and new refrigerator. They even took the time to label everything, so it was great to cook in the kitchen and on a backyard BBQ. They also provided a book with great trails, which we took advantage of. We will certainly come back for our next visit to Yosemite.

Perfect place for a visit to Yosemite by two couples. We loved the proximity to the Glacier point road, the views of the Valley were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the hiking. We had two bear sightings, one of them was at breakfast time from the kitchen table. The kitchen is well stocked and superbly organized. The hosts were super helpful and accessible. We loved our stay and would love to come back and visit in the future.

Terrible Terrible Terrible. Old musty smelling property. Floor boards were broken and covered with an old dirty rug. Holes in drywall in numerous places. Musty smell throughout. Cobwebs on light fixtures and fans. The second night one of the toilets clogged and the host did not respond to our message. Washer and dryer was old and LOUD. All the spices in the cabinet were expired from 2017. It's 2023!!! it is DEFINITELY not new or remodeled. Very overpriced for what we paid. Location was decent.

Great spot to relax after a day in Yosemite. My kids loved the jets in the tubs, loft nook with recliners and the kitchen was excellent for those who like to cook a great meal after a day out. It's small, but perfectly laid out and cozy, but enough room for a family of 4.

Great location! Space was as listed. Everything we needed for our 5 night stay plus a few extras. Kitchenware allowed us to cook meals each night. Internet was reliable and allowed me to handle some Necessary work. One small issue upon arrival and Simmy responded and handled immediately. Would love to see the gathering space outside get an upgrade — maybe some more comfy furniture on front deck.

This property is fabulous. Quiet street, cozy, comfortable, full of natural light, air conditioning. The kitchen is very well stocked with lots of spices, kitchen tools, quality appliances, quality dinnerware and silverware. The owner has even provided baby items such as a playpen and toys. Entry and locking the property is very easy. Communication with the owner was easy, timely, informative and friendly. It’s private, quiet and the neighborhood properties are beautiful too. We went for a nice evening stroll with cups of tea and saw massive pine cones! Easy to drive to the valley, with a STUNNING lookout point on the way. Check it out at sunset! Absolutely breathtaking. Love the porch on this property too. We were able see so many stars just from the porch! Would definitely stay at this property again. Thank you Simmy for such a wonderful stay for my family and I. Btw, my kids said they loved Yosemite more than Disneyland during our trip to California! It’s that spectacular!

Great little place inside the park at Yosemite West. Easy access to Glacier Point, tunnel view and the valley floor. We’ll designed house with great kitchen and dining area.TV and internet worked very well. Nice sitting areas on front porch and back grilling pad. And LABELS! Everything was labeled so well that it made it extremely easy to find things and use the electronics and A/C. Highly recommend it.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Location was very convenient for Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, Wawona, Mariposa Grove - even Tuolomne Meadows. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals, beds were very comfortable, air conditioning worked well, and we appreciated the library of guide and picture books about Yosemite Valley, Ansel Adams, and more - very nice touch! We’d love to stay again during future visits.

Our family stayed here three nights to enjoy our first time visiting Yosemite. We were thankful for picking a place to stay inside the park and a place that didn’t have lots of stairs to get into the house (like other vacation rentals we saw). The host had a very nice welcome gift for us. The two level house was perfect (our daughter took the upstairs bedroom/bathroom). One evening I enjoyed the upstairs loft recliner with the host’s huge Ansel Adams book. There is also books on Yosemite hikes, etc. We bought a Styrofoam cooler & loaded up with groceries at the Von’s in Oakhurst. We planned our Saturday Yosemite arrival for 5:00 PM so only had a 15 minute wait at the gate. The kitchen at the house was well stocked & perfect for preparing/cooking breakfast & dinners. We packed lunch/snacks/water bottles in the cooler each day for exploring the park. The park is so huge that you do spend a lot of time driving to get from place to place. We did 5 hikes. On the last day we drove to the village to buy souvenirs, watch the Yosemite film, go to the museum, gallery, and hike to a waterfall. We heard the parking there fills quickly so we arrived at the village area before 8:00 AM.

My family and I loved this house! It is very comfortable and has everything you need and more! We especially appreciated that all of the beds were so comfortable with lots of great pillows. Everything was clean and well stocked so that we could cook. The bathrooms have great showers and big fluffy towels! We would definitely come back!

Loved that the house was located in the park. This saved us an immense amount of time with travel allowing us to beat the rush in to the park. Super convenient location. The house was clean, quiet and well maintained. Loved the jetted bathtubs and the porch. Not much of a view but the subdivision is quiet and private. Most notable was how well stocked the kitchen is. Everything was labeled and the home had amazing sharp knives (never had a good knife at a rental), every utensil and cooking item you might need as well as a beautifully stocked pantry with essentials such as cooking oils, seasonings/herbs/spices and otherwise. We ate in every night allowing us to save some cash. I HIGHLY recommend this sweet little place. The owners were very kind and responsive.

This is one of the greatest rentals we have stayed in. We had 2 couples staying. The location is perfect if you don't want to actually stay in Yosemite Vallley. It is the perfect location if you want to experience everything Yosemite has to offer. The kitchen is stocked perfectly. Every cooking item needed, with a ridiculous spice cabinet. The gas cooktop was much appreciated! Oakhurst is not too far for everything else you need, and you are even closer to the valley for some of the most amazing views in the country. If you are wanting to experience Yosemite, stay here!

8 days before our schedule trip, all roads were closed to the property due to the unprecedented severe winter storm. We tried to ask the owner for a refund or to reschedule in July 2024 but they refused. We told them it was unsafe to travel with 2 kids in such snowy conditions, especially since tire chains were required for travel and only 1 trail was open at the Park, but the owner refused and said that weather is unpredictable and even in July there could be forest fires. We lost out on our money.

We arrived in a horrendous storm, but the house was warm and toasty. Very well stocked, clean and modern. We were snowed in for a day or so, but enjoyed walking the neighborhood, and the facilities of the house. Property manager was very responsive. Would highly recommend.

We had an unexpected winter storm arrive on night 2 of our 3-night stay. Because of California's tire chains laws, we were concerned about getting stuck in a road closure situation. We tried to contact the owners about a resolution, on multiple times, and never received a response. We ended up leaving after only one night. To date, we've never heard from the owners.

We stayed at paradise chalet almost a week. The property was perfect for us. We traveled with another couple so the upstairs, downstairs arrangement of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances and pantry items, and everything was labeled which was amusing at first but we quickly realized also very helpful, we did not have to open every drawer to find a spatula. The location is great and even though the neighborhood is crowded it felt private. The host was very responsive and gracious. Good home base for hiking at Yosemite.

We really loved our stay here! We brought our 1 year old, and they had everything he needed, including high chair, toys, kids utensils, pack N play! The kitchen was very well stocked. Everything was organized and well labeled. This was a great location within the park and an excellent home base for our first visit to Yosemite. We would absolutely stay here again.
