The property was very good. A little farther off the highway than we thought. It took about 8 minutes to drive fairly slowly from the highway due to the speed limit and pavement condition. The host was very responsive to our communications. The kitchen had updated appliances and was very functional and the beds were very comfortable. Since there were only two of us we only used the bedroom downstairs. There was a King bed there and a Queen upstairs with a hide a bed in the King bed rooms and another one in the living room. All in all, we were very pleased with the chalet. The basic rental rate was very fair but after the VRBO fees plus taxes it made it a little more than I would have liked but such is the hospitality industry these days.

The convenience of skipping the long wait lines to get inside the park made this property desirable. As with most NPs driving is part of the adventure, and this location was, at most 1.5 hours or less away from major hikes and park activities. It was quiet and peaceful, unlike the chaos of the Valley. Pantry supplies were a plus and the kitchen was well-equipped.

Great location in the park which saved us hours of travel each day. The home is very well equipped with the latest technology. It was very comfortable and private. Providing coffee ready to go was a nice touch. We wish we were staying longer.

Great property. We could use an urgent contact, which was not provided, when power went out.
