Hotel von Rotz

Hotel is modern and functional, decently sized rooms, comfortable beds, well equipped room and bathroom with complimentary toiletries. We did have dinner at the hotel restaurant and I need to highlight the beautiful views from the terrace. Breakfast buffet is quite complete with fresh items of great quality. I would stay again if ever in the area.

Check-in is done on a self-service kiosk just outside the main entrance, and no problem with the automatization of this task. The problem however is that we arrived as a group of coworkers, each person with an individual room, and of course more than half of the team had not applied for the early check-in beforehand, so everyone had to type the many required fields on the machine until the room key was delivered. Since there is just one kiosk, we took an unnecessarily long time until everyone had their keys, so I would suggest to have at least a second machine available.

Very well organised, clean, good food, everything on site for car drivers and with style.

There is no on location staff. (This was, of course, as expected.) However, the A/C in the room DID NOT work! Hotel is not really near anything. Nor near any public transport. Not a really pleasant area. And the perhaps almost finished, quite large construction site directly next to the hotel also make is less appealing.
