Riesci a immaginare una splendida fuga in famiglia/romantica con acqua limpida blu/verde su un lungomare privato, pescare dal nostro molo d'estate, svegliarsi due albe mattutine e sentire il calore del sole pomeridiano sulla schiena di UR/se il tempo lo permette, vedere le lune piene riflettersi sul lago una volta al mese, notti stellate/costellazioni, stelle cadenti di agosto, l'odore del barbecue UR che sfrigola, il piatto principale/verdure preferite di UR? ascoltare le onde leggere sorseggiando il lago di bevande UR, nuotare/fare kayak* al largo del nostro lungo lungovia privato? Ti piace sederti vicino all'acqua a 15 passi da casa, fare passeggiate guardando @ il lago/fare escursioni sulle colline/parchi vicini, visitare cantine, birrifici/seguire corsi di cucina o magari semplicemente leggere nel nostro angolo accogliente/suonare il pianoforte o arrostire marshmallow nel nostro braciere e preparare S'Mores?

Nancy, the host did a great job of making sure I arrived ok and if I needed any information about the area. She was very knowledgeable about the Town of Canandaigua and the surrounding area.

The property is a lovely lakefront house with upper and lower porches overlooking dock and lake. The mid-Sept weather was gorgeous; kayaked twice and even managed a (chilly) swim in the lake. Having a piano in the living room was special; it was fun trying to remember my piano lessons from 60 years ago. The house is conveniently located just a few minutes from town with several restaurants and Wegman's that offers prepared meals that can be warmed up. The Heron Hill winery is a 20 min scenic drive south on the West Lake Rd.Although I was born and grew up in Canandaigua, I'd never taken a cruise on the Canandaigua Lady, which was a delight. Property was fine for our group, but a group of 48 year old men shouldn’t be treated like infants from a host who is collecting a high fee for their property.
