There were three of us staying for 10 days at Villa Amerigo. It was an excellent stay as we each had our own rooms with en suite.
The best part of the villa was the covered porch with views of Cruz Bay. We spent a lot of time there with morning coffee and afternoon sunsets a part of our daily ritual.
The beds were super comfortable and the furniture complimented the whole setup.
Linda was extremely helpful and very prompt with answering questions. She also saved us when we made a wrong turn navigating to the villa the first day. I would recommend that the owners have her meet renters at the ferry docks— overall would highly recommended this place.

Loved the 3 master bedrooms since we had three couples. The villa had everything we needed. The host was quick to respond and very accommodating. Never had the chance to meet Terri, the on island contact but she made sure all was good with us and our vacation. We couldn’t have made a better choice.

Villa Amerigo
The house was great with beautiful views. The pool was great. Cooler, beach chairs and towels provided. Lost power one morning and the generator started up almost immediately. Very clean house. The house is at the top of Pocket Money Lane so walking downtown is 10
minutes. Going back up is doable, but taxis are so plentiful I would highly recommend taking one every time you up the hill.

We had a fantastic time at Estate Enighed! The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the deck was spectacular & the pool was awesome. We did lose internet for the last 2 days we were there. This was a minor inconvenience but we made the best of it given our happiness of being on vacation in St John. The home is up a very steep hill, so fyi sneakers would be best for walking to/from town. We welcomed the intense exercise! :) We loved our stay there & are grateful to have had this experience!

Beautiful house with a beautiful view
We had a fantastic time at Estate Enighed! The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the deck was spectacular & the pool was awesome. A wonderful property, perfect for us plus our 2-year-old grandson and his parents. Our grandson loved the deck where he could watch the iguanas basking and hear the roosters, birds, and frogs. The layout inside was great for him, too. Beds were comfortable and the bedroom a/c made sleeping very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and there were plentiful beach chairs to borrow. The access road is steep and rough, but we had been in the area before and knew what to expect. It's a do-able walk to downtown but I think it would seem very long walking back uphill after dinner--we didn't try it. Easy access by jeep to town and the northern beaches.

The view is stunning, place is clean, easily accessible with car or taxi. It's up a long steep hill though and it's even tough to walk down - I do not recommend if you prefer to be walking distance to town. Get the name/number of a driver or rent a car and you'll be fine. It's a very short drive.
The a/c in the living room doesn't work but it stays pretty cool. The bedrooms are well air conditioned.
The master bed is one of the most comfortable beds I can remember sleeping in! The listing does say that it sleeps 8 but the "sleeper sofa"/living room sofa is more like a futon. It pulls out to lie flat so one person sleeps on the seat cushion and the other person sleeps on the two back cushions. Not comfortable at all. My husband and I had to stay on it one night and didn't sleep even a little.
With a party of 6 where everyone has a bed and their own bathroom, this place is ideal.

We had a great time at villa amerigo! The property was very clean and the deck had an awesome sunset view. We loved the king beds in each room, SO comfortable. By far the best part was dipping in the pool after a long day at the beach. Would definitely recommend this property!

This is the 2nd time our family of 5 has stayed on Pocket Money Lane. It is a great location...a bit of a steep hill to walk up and down but doable. This property was great. It is located in a great location that is close to Cruz Bay and grocery store and restaurants. The rental was very spacious and well stocked. We really enjoyed having the beach chairs and the cooler that was provided for when we went to the beach. We loved sitting out on the veranda! What a view!

This was a perfect spot for our family vacation. Loved how the dining room opens to the veranda and the spectacular view! It was great to have three bedrooms with three bathrooms and the AC for at night. Plenty of room for the whole family! Would definitely recommend!

The view is amazing and you could sit on the balcony for hours. Outdoor furniture was nice and new, lots of beach chairs and the pool was clean ans nice as well. Full kitchen , stocked with everything, lots of towels and beach towels. Only downside is that the main living area is not air conditioned. It does get warm during the day even with the slider door open, the room air conditioners worked well though. The road to the house is a bit treacherous but that is all a part of the island charm. Walking into town is possible although not really pedestrian friendly. Get a cab for the ride home! Can’t wait to come back, property owners were great to work with and very responsive.

Beautiful & convenient
Great unit. Clean & well appointed. Only issues were nonexistent water pressure in master shower & nonfunctioning AC in living room. Laundry was definitely a plus for us!

Every now and then you make a mistake....
The owner's suite is very nice and we rented there because we had viewed it a couple of years ago. However in the intervening years, our mobility has changed and we found the access stairs to be too challenging, especially for check in and check out. We didn't even get down to the pool as the three additional steep flights of stairs were just too much for us. One of them doesn't appear to have a hand rail. It was a huge disappointment not to be able to use the pool. I blame myself for not remembering the many stairs but it did deter us from going out more.
Again, the property is very nice - fully loaded with everything in abundance: cutlery, plates and dishes, etc. The air conditioning and fans were very welcome. We did lose cable on one of the TVs the first day and never got it back. It was frustrating, especially as Viya didn't feel it was their responsibility.
We feel this property is better suited to a couple who is a little more athletic than we are. Being tall also helps. Clothes hangers and the microwave are located well over my comfort level height wise. I'm 5'5" and could only just reach the hangers.

Amazing week in paradise!
Pictures didn’t do this home away from home justice. The view over Cruz bay is breathtaking - one that is immediately enjoyed the moment you open the front door.
Fantastic spot overlooking the most convenient spot on St John. Only a few mins from the port. Straight drive, easy to find.
Super convenient to the restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Not to mention the rental shops if you’re wanting to dingy around or cruise over to BVI.
Easy drive to the best beaches and this spot gives a nice parking pad to keep your car within a few steps of the front door.
Pool was perfect for a late arrival the first day.
Kitchen is well appointed for a nice evening in - enjoying the views and cool breeze.
AC is perfect at night.
Washer/dryer is great touch.
And the outdoor grill hit the spot for steak night.
Recommend a Jeep. And a stop by one of the two nearby grocery stores on the way in.
Grab some rum, water and snacks for the beach. Or buy what you need for breakfast lunch and dinner and really feel like you’re at home. Property has a cooler, beach towels and chairs for ur enjoyment.
Love the dishwasher. And the blender for pina coladas.

No seaweed on the beaches. Great time to visit.

Convenient location if you plan to spend your nights in Cruz Bay!
Was as advertised. Clean and well furnished. Only criticism is the pictures make it appear as a one “bedroom” unit when it is by design, a studio unit. Granted, a large enough size but not really suitable for two couples. Beautiful deck with awesome views over town and the harbor. Would not recommend walking however, when they say steep hill, they mean steep.

What a beautiful place!!!
Really enjoyed our 2 day stay at this property. The home was spotless, and everything we needed was there for us. We were travelling with another couple and did find it a little odd that there really was not a bedroom as depicted in the photos.....but in fact, a bed in the open concept part of the room, visible to everyone. The other couple slept on the pull out sofa (extremely uncomfortable mattress) and neither of us had any privacy. The location was wonderful, however not really walkable to town unless you want to navigate the road going uphill to come home, which I highly do not recommend. Enjoyed the pool immensely and especially the views!

The view was beautiful, but the stay was mediocre.
Pros: beautiful view, early check in, decent location.
Cons: dead roaches in the bathroom, only 1/4 roll of toilet paper in the entire apartment, wifi didn't work, clean up requirements at check out when I'm already being charged a large cleaning fee as part of the rental.
Check out cleaning requirements: I'm very clean and understand there are things we can do to help out, but when I'm paying as much as they are charging per night plus a large cleaning fee, I find it in poor taste to require your guests to wash the sheets, wash AND put away the used dishes, and take out the trash. Honestly, I'm fine with all of that if they're not charging the large cleaning fee, but they are.
The wifi worked for maybe a total of 15 minutes over our 3 nights. I had some work emails to respond to and couldn't do it at the apartment because the wifi didn't work as advertised.
Overall, I probably won't be staying here again. The view was very, very beautiful though and the apartment was nice.

This villa was perfect. The views were amazing, they had everything you could possibly need, it was clean and very private. The outdoor deck was our favorite place especially in the morning for coffee. I can't say enough good things. You wouldn't be disappointed with choosing this vacation rental.
