We loved Ocean Villas and look forward to returning next year, but we’ll look for a more updated, cleaner unit. The AC worked great downstairs, but it was hot upstairs, so we were thankful for the fans provided. The twin mattresses were fine, but the king had big dips in it. The balcony chairs and table were rusting and flaking so much that we couldn’t sit outside without getting black flakes on our skin. Also, the door handle is broken so a piece of wood must be used to secure it. There were only a few forks and spoons, so we washed them everyday. Again, not happy with a lot of problems with this unit, but we loved the location, pools, landscaping, beach, and friendly residents.

When we arrived the front door was unlocked. Also the front door was difficult to lock wasn’t shimmed properly. I informed the owner but they didn’t seemed concerned. Well to start the cleaning company left debris under the futon couch my child had to sleep on first floor. Both deck doors were missing handles and had pieces of wood to prevent You from opening. It safely. The deck furniture was old. The tvs were both outdated.. The carpet had a lot of dog hair which caused my wife’s allergy problems. The beds were very lumpy and needed mattresses replacement. Many of the pictures shown in location aren’t accurate. The community pools were nice. The beach was gorgeous. Checkout was nightmare we cleaned the apartment better than it was when we arrived. Patty’s cleaning service made up bogus dog poop story in apartment. We had no pets on property. Patty doesn’t like to go through vrbo so she can keep the security deposit. My recommendation don’t rent from her period. They are not honest and don’t provide a safe or caring environment.

Ocean Villas is the perfect beach stay for a family vacation. This rental was perfect- in the middle of the two pools, close to beach access, and still with an ocean view! Loved the thoughtful touches too! We had a great stay and only wished it had been longer!

3 minute walk to pool and beach. Awesome experience. Will definitely do it again.

I’m not sure if this this is a condo or townhouse since it’s 2 floors and is a walk up to the front door. Great location to restaurants and shopping. Good views , clean, well cared for grounds and pools. (We only used the back pool near the beach which was an easy trip on the private walk) There is plenty of beach gear to borrow- umbrella, chairs, coolers, and a wagon (better than our own). The condo could use a facelift (all original cabinets and rusted balcony furniture) but very functional. AC seems marginal for upstairs bedrooms and mattresses have seen better days. Overall , a pleasant stay. We would return.

Condo was as advertised. Ocean views/waves, great beach and two pool options all closer than look in photos. Checked all the boxes for a relaxing get away: sun, beach (and pools), seafood, history. Found St.Augustine Beach and St.Augustine are very clean, safe, walkable/bikeable compared to other vacation spots in Florida.

The property was just as described. The pools were very nice, and one was heated. It was an easy drive to everything in St. Augustine

This condo complex is in an excellent location, and the location was the best part of our stay. We arrived to find that our unit had not been thoroughly cleaned, and there was dog hair everywhere. In addition, there were numerous pet stains on the carpet in the 2nd bedroom. The host (mgmt co) was very responsive when we called them the evening that we arrived. We asked to move to a different location but none were available. They sent someone to clean immediately. We would have appreciated some follow up contact by the mgmt co after the recleaning. The carpet upstairs needs a professional deep cleaning or replacement, and the upstairs bathroom needs to be recaulked. The pull out couch only seats two comfortably while watching tv and is very uncomfortable to sit on. We did not open the pull out. The owner should consider purchasing a larger, comfortable couch and updating the kitchen. The outside furniture on the main floor balcony is in dire need of replacement. The sliding doors do not lock and are secured by wooden poles. The only items in our starter kit were dishwasher tabs, a roll of paper towels, and two rolls of toilet paper so be sure to bring your own dish soap, sponge, hand soap, bath soap, shampoo, extra toilet paper, etc. We are frequent travelers and learned a valuable lesson about booking last minute during a busy time.

Was perfect for what we needed as we were in and out of st. Augustine for the holiday. When getting back, was nice to take the dog for a walk on the beach.

Although the property was great, unfortunately we couldn't stay due to the stairs.. somehow when I was looking and booking property the owner Patty was not looking at the same one. Not sure how but she ended up finding another condo that work for us.

I have rented vacation homes and condos in numerous locations throughout the southeastern U.S. Generally speaking, my rentals have been very nice with some being exceptional. My recent rental was far below what I consider to be an acceptable quality standard.

The beds are in need of new mattresses and pillows. Kitchen dishes and glasses were dated and unmatched. The bedrooms were all upstairs and the stairs were very steep and narrow. Not for elderly people. There is a weird set up with the bathrooms. A walk in shower but on the bottom floor next to the front door. The other bath had a tub but it was a Jack and Jill situation. Some kind of rodent droppings on the deck outside the living area. The pool and grounds were beautiful and neighbors were friendly.

Condo is a little dated, mostly rhe kitchen. Kitchenware, baking sheets pots and pans need replacing. I made sure to clean them before use. Cleanliness was ok, not great. Beds were comfortable. Showers need recaulking. Overall, great location/neighborhood. Great pools...1 is heated! Beach is awesome. Pet friendly. Overall a great vacation despite a few things.

The property location was great. Amazing beach just steps away, 2 pools, and close to everything! The unit was stocked with everything we needed to start our vacation. Lots of towels 😊 The host was helpful and made sure we were comfortable when we arrived. It was the perfect spot for us to stay and enjoy everything that St Augustine has to offer.

My family traveled to St Augustine to explore a new place and enjoy the beach. This place was perfect. The location was great. Close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, and 15 minutes from downtown St Augustine. Any questions or concerns we had, patty and Harry were quick to help. Definitely recommend!

Not bad

Our family (2 Adults, an 18yr old and our furbaby) stayed for 4 nights. Here are our thoughts: Positive Review: 1. Condo was equipped with everything you would need for the kitchen, also plenty of towels, linens and we loved the closet full of beach gear! The condo is only supplied with some starter stuff so definitely bring extra garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs and laundry supplies. I am glad we were told ahead of time by the property management in the contract so we were prepared. 2. Pools, beach access are steps away. Loved how close we were to the beach and it was so nice, clean and not crowded. 3. Location/Proximity to local attractions. Publix, ice cream shops and a great Mexican restaurant (Taco Libre) are minutes away. 10 mins from the Lighthouse and 20 minute drive to Old St. Augustine/Fort area. 4. Loved that the bedrooms were upstairs and they were quiet. 5. Harry, the property manager was great and responsive to any question or need that came up. 6. Condo really was comfortable and felt like our home away from home! It is definitely pet friendly too! Negatives: 1. Condo is located on a 2nd floor. (We knew ahead of time) but if you are schlepping a lot of stuff, just know there is no elevator and it's 2 small landings to the door. 2. AC 2nd floor master bedroom...room does not cool down, it is really hot up there. Harry was kind to send an AC tech the morning after we checked in to check the AC. AC tech confirmed that it works, especially downstairs but you have to lower the temp really low to get the rooms to be at a comfortable temperature upstairs to be able to sleep. 3. Twin beds in 2nd bedroom -- mattresses are really hard. Our 18yr old was really uncomfortable sleeping on one of the beds. We even put extra blankets for more cushioning but it was still really hard. 4. Only one pool was opened during our stay and it caused the other pool to overflow with people. It was hard to enjoy so we only went once and spent the rest of the days at the beach. 5. Would have appreciated a map layout of where things are (i.e. pool, beach access, dog areas, where to throw out the garbage, etc.). We had to ask neighbors / explore around to figure it out. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing vacation here and we look forward to coming back and staying here again.

This property is in a great location and only steps away from the beach. It’s furnished with everything. Although our kids aren’t young anymore the zero elevation pool would have been great when they were younger. Great experience!

All the appliances and furniture were in great shape. We brought our own beach cart but their's was much better! Walking distance from the beach and the pool was a plus. Even their TVs were up to date with all kinds of programming and entertainment. Not that it was a problem for us but just a heads up; the apartment is on a second floor. The only thing I would suggest is to change the mattresses on the twin beds, they are a little too hard and stiff, but everything else was great.

This beach villa is perfectly located on St. Augustine Beach. It is close to restaurants and shopping and a short drive to the Historic District downtown and local attractions. It was very clean, well appointed and supplied with everything necessary for our family stay. The complex was well maintained and the grounds were tropical and lush. The amenities were great. The only negative were the hard beds. With that being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for our next beach vacation. The dishes, cookware, and linens were of very good quality and were of ample quantity. The supplied beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels were an added bonus for a complete beach stay. I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends for an enjoyable stay.

The bedrooms are located upstairs. There is one bath upstairs and one downstairs. The unit was clean and nice with plenty of towels and extra sheets if needed. Nice pools and well manicured grounds.

Truly enjoyed our stay. Our rental was very clean and provided everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation.

My family and I had a wonderful time. The views from the condo are amazing, and we greatly appreciate all the "little details" that made us feel so welcome. The condo was very clean, bright, and comfortable. Easy access to the pool and beach. You thought of everything we could've possibly needed to make our stay enjoyable. The unit is located close to great restaurants and downtown St. Augustine but still offers a relaxing peaceful getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your slice of heaven on earth with us. We plan to visit again, and sure hope this is available!

Nice clean spacious apartment in a great complex on the water.

This condo at Ocean Villas was perfect for our family of 5 and exceeded our expectations. The condo was so clean and pretty and the grounds were amazing! 2 pools, great beach, we had 2 balconies that both had a view of the ocean. Everything you would need is provided. The beds were comfortable, furnishings were great, awesome place! It was also very conveniently located. Highly recommend to anyone. Our small dog was able to vacation with us too- he loved it. Thanks for a wonderful place to celebrate our son's college graduation!
