In a better time, I am sure this place would have been just as described. We weren't told that the home wasnt ready at 4pm as stated. We arrived by 530pm exhausted and wet from the beach. The maps provided to us by the host would not lead us to the home. We got there by 6pm only to find the "cleaning crew" still working. If this was communicated to us, all 8 of us would not have been caught off guard and having to leave the home again to find somewhere to be at until they were done. With all mix the up, we never noticed the home or facility being worked on across until we were woken up at 650am by a cement truck horn. By 7am, it became a full-blown construction site. Not the best vacation idea we had in mind. The host was nice enough to offer 100 to be divided amoung two families. But in hindsight, the inconvenience that we were all put through, 50 refund for two family was insulting. The "relaxation" should be removed from caption. The host does not know when the construction site is worked on so it will be anyones gamble. Positive note: the place was indeed lovely. We would have appreciated a courtesy call so that we would have known the house was not ready until 2-3 hours after check-in time... and be warned of construction site across (enclosed).
