This home was great for its location, offering easy access to the beach and local nightlife, which we could easily walk to. The spacious layout is well-suited for a family, and the pool and front porch provided nice downtime between outings. There were a few water-related issues that, if addressed, would greatly improve the property. There was no hot water at the kitchen sink, and the master bathroom sink also had no hot water. (We chose not to tamper with the valves under the sinks due to potential leaks.) Both bathrooms had faulty shower valves, causing significant temperature fluctuations, ranging from scalding hot to freezing cold.Since our stay was only two days, we didn't contact the host during our visit, but we did inform him after our departure so he could rectify the situation for future guests. While I hesitate to mention this in the review, I felt it was important to bring it to his attention to ensure a better experience for the next family. The rental price was a key factor in our decision, and we found it to be excellent value. The host was also easy to communicate with.

Jose was an amazing helpful host! We had some issues with our dates and he was very accommodating on our odd times of arrival and departure. The house is in a perfect location. First, located above a coffee shop doesn't hurt! It's very walkable to the downtown and beach. There aren't sidewalks until you get downtown, but you're fine single file and it's only for a block. There are 2 parking spots. Make sure to use the cones to save them if you're gone during the day or the coffee customers will use them. The pool is nice, but we really liked the roof top. Great views and sunshine up there! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfasts and lunches. The washer and drying came in handy too. The bedrooms are pretty big. We liked that our adult sons got their own beds and bathroom. Plenty of room to hang out as a family and play cards at night. We also enjoyed just hanging on the front porch. There is air conditioners in each room, but we didn't feel we needed them all day because the airflow with the windows open kept it at a perfect temp. We'd highly recommend this house. He also had beach chairs and towels, which was a huge help. Thank you for the hospitality and lovely accommodation.
