Mark’s property was perfect for our visit to South Haven with our two children (2 & 4). It’s walking distance to the beach, Kid’s Corner and the town; we rarely drove anywhere. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Definitely a great spot for families. Mark was responsive and easy to work with.

We had a great stay in Mark's home. Communicating with Mark was so easy from the start. The house was very clean. It was nicely decorated. Because we were traveling with our three-year-old twin granddaughters, we were glad there was not an abundance of knick-knacks to move to higher levels. There was plenty of room for all of us. The location of this house is amazing for families. The neighborhood is very quiet. It is a short walk to Kids' Corner playground, which has been beautifully redone, the beach, and downtown. I would definitely stay here again!!

Plenty of space for 6 or 8 adults. Very clean and updated. Just a short walk straight to the beach. Has all the conveniences and comforts of a home away from home would need.

Mark and Linda’s “Haven’s Away” is a lovely home, with all the things! The home is very cozy, it has everything you need for a nice weekend away! The home is very close to the beach and town, but just far enough away from the action to feel relaxed! I would gladly stay in this home again and again!

This is a beautiful and spacious home in an unbelievable location. You are two blocks from the beach and an easy walk into downtown. There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your vacation. Most importantly, Mark and Linda were wonderful hosts. We had a few issues that were completely beyond their control, but Mark was incredibly responsive & communicative and did everything he could to resolve the issues. I would definitely recommend this home for a visit to South Haven.

We loved everything about our stay.
Rooms are as they appear in the pictures. Bedrooms down are not large but very functional & nice closets with fan if you need extra cooling. Air conditioning worked well. Upstair’s bed room is huge with bathroom & large walk in closet! Extra things for beach & backyard very helpful! We enjoyed the fire ring in the evenings. Loved short walk to beach & walk to downtown! Close enough but not so close as to cause parking issues. Nice quiet neighborhood! Accessible hosts either by text, phone call or emails! Definitely recommend!

We try to spend a week in South Haven every summer, and this year our stay was perfect! We loved being walking distance to the beach and to shopping and dining downtown. The house was so clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Perfect size and distance from everything!
We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and the perfect size for our family. We loved how close it was to the beach and downtown so could walk everywhere. There were lots of games, a beach wagon and a fully stocked kitchen for eating in.

Love our time in South Haven
This is our second trip to South Haven! We enjoyed this location because it was clean, spacious, and close to the beach and kids corner. The beach supplies In the garage were very helpful! One of those supplies was a wagon. Our kids enjoyed the wagon ride to the beach and kids corner every day. We will definitely stay at this property again!

Perfect Family Home
We had a great time! The house was the perfect size and location was fantastic! We could easily walk to downtown, the beach and the kids korner playground. It had lots of space for our family of four. The extra bedroom upstairs was perfect when mom or dad needed a break mid-day :) Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was extremely clean and updated. It is in a perfect location just .5 miles from the beach and .5 miles to downtown with extremely nice and welcoming neighbors. Great location, spacious, clean with all amenities
This place is in a perfect location to walk to beach and downtown. Very clean with a spacious kitchen area/TV area. They have it stocked with a lot of amenities for the beach and enjoying the backyard. The hosts are very responsive.

Perfect for our family of 5
The home was the perfect size for our family of 5 with 3 little ones. Everything was convenient to walk to and the beach was great even in 60 degree temps.

Amazing location
We loved our experience at 216 VanBuren St! We have been coming to SH every year for over a decade and this by far has been our best location!
We had a huge family vacation scheduled for the Outer Banks in early June. My husband was in a serious work related accident mid May and that vacation had to be cancelled. The vacation was to be a celebration of our 35 year old Down Syndromes daughters recent hip replacement. She struggled with pain and walking for several years… so walking and running on the beach was her goal. We were shocked to be able to reserve Labor Day weekend at South Haven to take the place of our Outer Banks trip. We recorded her running on the beach.
Loved being able to walk to both the beach and town! Our stay was amazing !

We love staying at this property! The owners are incredibly responsive, the property fits our family perfectly and is always in perfect condition, and it's close to town and the beach!

This place worked out well for our multi-generation family. We found the house to be clean and accommodating to our needs. The kitchen and bathrooms were well furnished with everything you need. The living room and bedrooms were comfortable and practical. It was a plus to have TV's in two of the bedrooms as well as the living room. Liked the long white dining table for meals and games. Appreciated having driveway parking and access to the garage where a beach wagon, beach chairs and toys were available and put to good use by us. The location of this home is great. We were within walking distance to the beach and town. Would like to return.

Great Family Trip
This was our first family trip and the location and house was perfect. A short walk from a beautiful beach and the buzzing town center. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

Just what we needed!
This is our 2nd time staying at this beach house. We love the location and that we can walk into town. We usually have too much stuff to walk to the lake, but it is definitely walkable! The house has everything you need to enjoy a week away. We enjoyed the grill and private patio/backyard!

This is a great location for walking to town, beach or playground! The property was clean and nice. Super bonus to have the wagon available with taking kids to the beach. Will definitely look for availability again next time we visit south haven!

The house was clean, everything available in the kitchen, good stay for 6 to 8 people . Beach chairs and some kids toys in the garage were good found since we forgot to bring beach chairs . We experienced a power outages in the area and we hoped if there was a backup generator or even battery operated ,lights and candles.Overall it was nice and good place to stay .

A short 3 block walk to the beach (with stairs down to the sandy bluff area). Nearby to parks and an easy walk downtown. The house is equipped with a crib, toddler seat for eating and extra toys and things in the garage. Cute inside and a quiet backyard space for breaks in between beach and town. Owner was very easy to communicate with. Perfect trip!

The house was clean, everything available in the kitchen, good stay for 6 to 8 people . Beach chairs and some kids toys in the garage were good found since we forgot to bring beach chairs .
