This home worked well for my wife and me, plus our two college-age sons and seven of their friends (11 total). I was somewhat worried the bunk beds would be too small. While the room is decorated for younger children, the young men in this group who slept in that room said it was fine. The group also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the yard and watching NBA playoff games on the TV. (There was enough seating that everyone could see.) A third bathroom would have been nice, but we knew we were only getting two and the upstairs one is quite roomy. The location is an easy walk to both the town center and South Beach. (It was too cold for much in the way of beach activities, but it’s nice to look at the lake.) My wife and I enjoyed biking on the Kal-Haven Trail one afternoon while the boys went to the Michigan Maritime Museum and saw a movie downtown at the Michigan Theatre.

We had a great experience in South Haven and loved staying in this house. We had 5 small kids with us and 4 adults. There was plenty of space, the house was clean, there were activities for the kids, and the location was perfect. We hope to be back in the future!

This house is very charming, down to the last detail. The location is great for the lake and downtown. I loved this house. It was an easy fit for all 4 of us. We will be coming back!!

Very responsive manager & owner. We had a minor issue with a storm door staying closed. We made the manager aware- not as a complaint that impacted our stay but to let them know- and the owner arrived that day and fixed it.
