Immerso in Crystal Lake, questo attraente cottage a 357 € per notte è un fantastico scelta per il tuo prossimoviaggio. Seconda stagione sotto nuovi proprietari e gestione! Due camere da letto, un bagno, confortevoli e tranquille ... Questo cottage è idealmente situato sulla sponda meridionale del Crystal Lake, a circa metà strada (5 minuti in auto) da Frankfort o Beulah. Ha 82 piedi di bellissima spiaggia privata, grande molo con piattaforma, paranco e una breve corsa in barca (o anche pagaia) al bar di sabbia. Questo è un quartiere tranquillo di piccoli cottage e non ci sono strade da attraversare tra il cottage e la spiaggia. (Si noti che la mappa non è corretta nel mostrare una strada tra cottage e spiaggia).
Questo cottage offre molta privacy, nascosto nei boschi su alcuni lati dove è possibile osservare cervi o volpi. C'è una bella terrazza sul davanti con una vista meravigliosa direttamente sul grande prato, sulla spiaggia e sul lago. C'è una buca per il fuoco (sulla spiaggia) e grill a gas (cottage esterno) e una stufa a legna. Un sacco di spazio all'aperto per bambini (e adulti!) per correre e giocare o rilassarsi e distendersi. Lo spazio interno è accogliente e confortevole, rendendo piacevoli anche le giornate di pioggia per giochi, letture o film. This property was perfect for our family. It was just as described and how others noted it had everything needed. Our boys enjoyed playing in the yard and swimming. Close to many activities. Highly recommend!

Thank you for another wonderful week at Blue Cottage! We had some iffy weather to start but made the most out of day trips to Glen Arbor, Traverse City, and Empire and then enjoyed the rest of the week on the boat when the weather warmed up. This rustic cottage might be small in size but sure packs the punch in delivering a mighty vacation week! Thanks again!!

This place is adorable and back off the main road and right up against Crystal Lake. But there's also the boats (!) that come with the property: three kayaks, a canoe, and a paddleboat. All there for you to use during your stay. And then the Shed o' Endless Wonders, which includes paddles, life jackets, rafts, beach toys, marshmallow roasting sticks, tiki torches. And a hammock. It's an entire vacation's worth of stuff in one spot. We (my wife and I, two-year-old son, and dog) had a great time here, even though the weather was a bit chilly. Definitely want to come back in the years to come.

We had a great vacation while at this property. Crystal Lake is truly crystal clear and the home is tidy and well kept. Our family of five (three teens) and medium sized dog managed just fine even with it being as compact as it is. The large yard, beach, and long dock were also well appreciated. We played outdoors during the day and enjoyed streaming movies and shows on the TV at night.
We enjoyed visiting the surrounding towns as well as the Sleeping Bear Dunes that is less than an hour away. Fishing was not as good as other lakes we have gone to, but that may have been the time of year or our amateur methods. Overall we had a great stay at this property and would recommend it to others.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We love this cottage. It’s very close to downtown Frankfort and golf. Yet it’s also very secluded in a wooded area on a beautiful clear lake, so you get the best of both exploring and relaxing. The inside of the cottage is so cozy with extra little comforts here and there like heated bathroom floors and adjustable heat for each room. We hope to stay again!

We LOVED this cottage!!!! It was exceptionally clean, well stocked, cozy and comfortable. The wood stove kept us toasty and warm on the first couple of cool evenings. The weather at the end of our stay was hot and sunny - we thoroughly enjoyed the many, many hours we spent on our own private little sandy beach and boat ramp. The lake storage shed was filled with everything we needed for play, both in the water and on the beach.
It was so quiet and peaceful. We don't believe it gets better than this. We will definitely want to stay here again!

Beautiful spot! Perfect trip
Loved this cottage in the woods! Initially nervous about small size but this owner has put every inch to good work! The high ceiling also made it feel bigger. Property was immaculate and loaded with surprises including paddle boat, kayaks, a shed full of beach stuff, beautiful dock, hoist, and more! We stay on Crystal Lake every year and this is the best spot we have stayed at in 10 years!

Serenity on Crystal Lake in the Woods
The Blue Cottage is definitely a place to visit again. The view from the bluff overlooking Crystal Lake was beautiful and the pine trees surrounding the cottage give you the feeling of camping.
The cottage is conveniently to many outdoor activities in the Sleeping Bear Dunes area.

So in love
We had the most needed getaway at the blue cottage. We were in town for a wedding and myself, husband and 3 kids, oh- and our dog, enjoyed this retreat so much. The kids swam a ton, even in mid -June! It is a lovely, quiet, clean and cozy place. We will for sure be back.

Wonderful fall getaway
The Blue Cottage was perfect for our weekend fall getaway: well equipped, clean, and comfortable; beautiful backyard; wide, sandy waterfront. The fall colors were gorgeous. We enjoyed paddle boating and the long dock, which Adrian and Rebecca arranged to have in place for us late in the season. The most pleasant surprise was the heated floor in the bathroom. Divine!

Blue cottage getaway
Here is on of those experiences in life where my enthusiasm would have me rave but fear that I am giving away a secret treasure by doing so. We fully anticipate the pleasure of repeating a trip to the Blue Cottage. Everything was perfect, from the location to the attention by the owners to the house itself. Don't change a thing! (Unless it is the addition of a small washer/dryer unit, and perhaps a fence along the west side -similar to the unobtrusive one on the east- to help contain nosy wandering dogs.)

There were some issues with dust, but the bathroom and kitchen were clean. Even with that critique we enjoyed the property. They were very nice and good to work with. The location was really great. The place is small, but had everything we needed. They made kayaks and a canoe available for free and that was very nice.

Wonderful visit to Crystal Lake!
The cabin was nicely renovated and we had everything we needed. It is a beautiful setting up on the hill and we loved sitting out on the dock and swimming off of it. Our nights were cool and with the help of the wood burning stove we all slept the best we had in these Covid times. We all enjoyed the vacation we needed. Thank you and plan to be back.

Peaceful retreat
Cozy little cottage nestled in the woods on a uniquely large lakefront lot. The cottage was well equipped for all of our needs. The beach, dock and yard were enjoyed by all, particularly our pups. Close to Frankfort which is nice if you need to pick something up or just hang out in the quaint little village.
Owners were super nice and responsive throughout the process. We hope to return in the future.

Great rental for a family
This property is loaded with everything you need for a week upnorth from items in kitchen, bathrooms, and shed by the lake. It had much more than advertised.
Not having A/C is not a problem as the house is almost entirely in the shade, breeze from lake is great, and there is a ceiling fan in main area and in one bedroom. We did bring one for the 2nd bedroom and that was sufficient.
I agree with the last reviewer that there are a lot of bugs on the property, but that is expected as the lot and surrounding lots are heavily wooded. The windows and screens are clearly new and well maintained so that as long as you are not leaving the door open unnecessarily, the screens are effective in keeping bugs out.
I will warn that we did find some ticks on our persons and towels. This is an inherent problem in northern Michigan and is to be expected in heavily wooded areas. I advised the owners of some lawn treatments that can help the issue, but it's just something to be cognizant about before coming inside.
The dock is huge and nice with a big section at the end you can set up at and swim from. If you have a family with children that can swim, you could spend all day out there. The paddle boat is a great amenity too. The shed contains everything you can imagine, from tubes and floats to buoys, ropes, lifejackets, lawn games, you name it.
We had very minimal complaints. The beach is full of tree roots and is a half dirt/half sand mixture. So not the sugar sand beach you would be looking for for toddlers/young children. It is also mostly rocks at the shore, but gets absolutely beautifully sandy 10 yards out and well before the end of the dock. So I would say swimming area is more ideal for older children rather than families with children that play in the shallows.
Other two gripes are the kitchen table really needs replacing. It's unstable and can fall over if you put heavy items on the ends. Last is the shower head sprays at an angle made for a tall person and since there is no bathtub, it would be nice if it could be angled down or removable. Not a deal breaker by any means, just means if you have toddlers you have to get creative at bath time.
Overall, you can't beat the location on the lake and the house is clean, updated, and very accommodating for a single family.

Serenity at the Blue Cottage
My husband, sons and I had a wonderful time at this cottage on Crystal Lake. The convenience to both Beulah and Frankfort, yet the feeling of being secluded in nature, made for a relaxing vacation that we so desperately needed. The owners are wonderful hosts -- available to answer any questions throughout our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom met all of our needs. We could tell the owners have invested in updating the windows and adding comfortable and convenient touches throughout the cottage. Our sons enjoyed having access to Netflix and the ability to watch their Blu-ray movies. Our youngest loved using the paddle boat on the lake and playing on the beach. We used the grill for evening meals and spent quiet mornings on the deck enjoying our coffee. Several nights during our stay, we made our way to the end of the dock using flashlights then turned them off to gaze at the stars...what a sight! Of course, we used the fire pit on the beach for a night of making smores...so fun. We highly recommend this property.
