Endsleigh Park Hotel

This is a very minimalist place to stay for those used to full service hotels but it works extremely well for me. There is no reception as such but access via keypads to the hotel and room was straightforward and felt secure. The whole place was spotless and is very much 'make yourself at home'. All the facilities needed to prepare and eat a meal and breakfast (cooker, hob, microwaves, toasters, pans, utensils, plates, cutlery) are provided and there are two fridges and a a freezer for storing your own food. Guests are expected to wash, dry and store used items and respect others people's food so the whole kitchen runs on trust and honesty, which seems to work very well. There are two large tables for eating and a lounge in a conservatory. The bedroom was small but perfectly adequate with a decent bed and an excellent bathroom. Local shops within five minutes walk, bus stop into the city centre right outside and some nice grounds to sit in. I will definitely stay here again.

Very nice converted old manor house.

Not well sign posted. No soap/body wash. The shower only had hot water, very hot no cold, so i could not have a shower.

Photos of rooms show stained glass windows. However the room we stayed in was very plain. Old building so creaking floorboards and thin walls. All very basic but fine for the price though.
