Violet Suites

Loved the location of Violet Suites, close enough to walk into the main tourist spots but far enough for it to be quiet. The owner is a lovely welcoming guy and took time to guide us on the map to the places we should visit. He has a passion for the history of Ghent and Belgium, interesting guy to chat to. Loved the modern feel in the room, has been styled wonderfully. Great comfy beds and our room had aircon that was certainly needed on the 30+ degree days. The shared kitchen space has everything you need, with tea, coffee & extra treats. As well as all the appliances you need if wanting to self cater. Added benefit of having secure, gated parking at the back of the building. If you’re looking for somewhere a little quieter than being in the hub of the city, within easy walking distance this would be perfect. Will absolutely stay here again.

Very comfortable, and spacious room with all facilities need spotless, light room, easy to get central , fresh crosant & waffles in the morning at the living hoste give a good wellcome and well explained where are the best place to visit providing a map .100 % recommend Felci 🇧🇴

Not any complaints at all .everything was great

A warm welcome by the host, we really appreciated the hospitality. The room was absolutely stunning, clean, with a thoughtful, spacious and well curated decor/ layout. The beds were very comfortable, on a firm side which we like. The location was great, just a 10 min walk from the centre.

The room we stayed in was the one facing the main road. This is not a room for a light sleeper as the road outside has a lot of traffic so falling asleep and staying asleep was impossible on our first night. My husband and I had to purchase ear plugs as it was impossible to fall asleep from all the traffic noise. This was our only concern.

The location was definitely a highlight, very convenient for exploring the city.

The accommodation itself was fine, but unfortunately our experience with the hosts was less positive. The welcome and key handover were not particularly friendly. During our stay, we also received a message regarding the tourist tax, but the amount requested was €10 higher than the correct amount. In addition, the shared/common area was not very clean during our stay. Overall, we felt the hospitality and cleanliness could have been better.
