Would highly recommend this lovely and charming hotel which is not too far away from Gent Sint Pieters train station or city centre. Public transport is literally at the bottom of the street from the property and is very easy to use.
Cozy rooms and great breakfast with lots of variety and choice. Staff were very welcoming and a big thank you to Dante and Veronique for all there invaluable help and advice. It was my best friends birthday as well and they helped make it special.
There wasn't anything not to like. It was a lovely stay.

Easy access to public transport and city centre. Welcoming staff. Good pressure in the shower and comfortable bed
Reception unmaned from 7:30pm. The wifi code provided didn't work. The room claimed to have a historical retro deco but the reality is that it was poorly decorated some time ago and is now long overdue refurbishment ( mould in shower, peeling paint and wall paper in bathroom, bedroom and windows, broken window, wobbly bedside table, extension cables, musty smell in wardrobe. Ill fitting mattress sheet. Room was warm even though it was September, so slept with window open to be woken up by children going to school (back of the building faces school playground).

"Struttura romantica e caratteristica, curata nell'arredamento, silenziosa, camere spaziose e confortevoli, non vicinissima né al centro né alla stazione, ma comunque comoda e con i trasporti pubblici ..."
