Wonderful home cooked breakfast and the host was so helpful in suggesting places to visit during our stay.

Had a great stay. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean and Jen treated us like family. Breakfast was wonderful each morning and she even went above and beyond to send us off with blueberry muffins our last morning when we left before breakfast. Oh and the coffee was delicious! Highly recommend!

Jen, the homeowner, was absolutely lovely. Wonderful home, accommodations and hospitality. I would, without a doubt, stay again at her B&B and hope to do so again in the future. Highly recommended for those taking in the vineyards, breweries, hiking/waterfall opportunities or even during visits to see kids at college in Ithaca.

Amazing Host Jen! Her breakfast served is delicious and she puts a lot of effort in it. Such a lovely host and is ready with recommendations if needed to help enhance the trip and the experience. The location is also ideal to visit both Cayuga and Seneca, with Seneca being a 15 minute drive. Also close to Trumansburg which has pizza and other food and drinks options. The property is historic and is therefore old, so expect a charming quaint stay. If you don't like old properties then you might be disappointed with this. But no disappointment here for us and would definitely come back to stay. Thank you Jen!

Hospitality was fantastic. Clean and quiet room. Perfect breakfast with good company. Suggestions of things to do and explore in the lakes. Location is just what u need on the lakes !

We loved staying at this Bed and Breakfast. Our host provided us a five star homemade breakfast each morning. Jen also provided so many wonderful tips and places for the area. We loved staying here and hope to return in the future.

Jen has wonderful hospitality, very friendly and excellent breakfast options. House cat Rufio was a sweetheart.

Jen our host at Black Walnut gave us a list of excellent places to eat at during our stay and in the future. The breakfasts were exceptional! Bedroom was cozy and comfortable.

Can not think of anything that I didn't like about Black Walnut.

The property itself was old and in need of a lot of TLC. Jen did a lot of remodeling but it still has a way to go. As long as you’re looking for a place to sleep and be a home base for sightseeing, it’s satisfactory.

Location was great for getting to wineries at both Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake. The owner Jen was very friendly, knowledgeable about the local area, and an excellent cook. Top notch fresh ingredients for our breakfasts! Our room was very clean and comfortable. She even has Hulu and Netflix on the TV.
