Family bonding trip with rainy weather. There wasn't much to do but play games and work on a giant puzzle. The house was great, perfect for 3 couples. The kitchen was well stocked with items (platters/bowls, etc) needed for larger group dining. One of the cabinet doors was broken when we arrived, so we contacted Vacasa and they took care of it right away. Check out process was super easy too.

Great kitchen for cooking family meals with fabulous views from every room. Lost power one night, and had to do a little maintenance (batteries out on a thermostat and flash lights didn’t work), but they were quick to help. Rooms were cleaned, although a couple downstairs were dusty. Never the less, we’d go back.

We had no “stay” to enjoy. Prior to check-in we had a medical emergency, couldn’t make the trip, and had to forfeit our complete payment per policy. Even though I notified Vacasa that we weren’t coming, we continued to receive texts and emails from Vacasa during our rental period which continued to remind me about our misfortune having to cancel. Aside from the medical emergency, it took a month to receive a definitive answer to my question about whether or not the mattresses throughout the property were replaced. (There were negative comments about the condition of the mattresses beginning in 2021.) I was finally notified that two new mattresses would be delivered the day AFTER our departure. Alas, future renters will enjoy the new mattresses despite my group getting the fuzzy lollipop.

Unbeatable views looking out to the ocean and Bodega Harbor. The house was perfect for three couples and a few babies. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the big front windows make watching the sunset a must do event.

The views are amazing from every room. Perfect for 3 couples. Having bathrooms in each bedroom is a plus! House was very clean and had all the kitchen supplies needed to prepare and serve meals. Patio and hot tub was very nice…weather was perfect so we were able to spend a lot of time outside. Will definitely stay here again.

Are stay at the house was lovely. The location was great with wonderful views of bodega Bay. The kitchen was fabulously stocked with everything we could ever use; each bedroom had its own view of the day and it’s all in the bathroom. Lots of towels, beach towels And amenities. Absolutely a beautiful home and a quiet neighborhood with fabulous views.

Gorgeous home with 3 master suites and ocean views from every room! Awesome sunsets! Well equipped kitchen and great outdoor space for entertaining. Fabulous golf course, walking trail to the beach and short day trip to Armstrong Redwoods Natural Reserve. Plenty of wineries to chose from, especially enjoyed Korbel! Most relaxing vacation EVER!!

The house was beautiful, large and spotless. The views were amazing and the house was bright and welcoming. The neighborhood was very quiet and we enjoyed taking walks in the area. The location was great, very close to Doran Beach and shops and restaurants. We also saw lots of wildlife from the house which was an added bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was very spacious. We look forward to visiting the home again.

The house is lovely with a very well stocked kitchen. We were able to find everything we needed when fixing our meals in the large kitchen which made it easy for multiple people to be working at the same time. In addition, the rooms were comfortable each having a water view.
We were able to relax and do a little exploring of the area and had a wonderful meal at Terrapin Creek Restaurant in Bodega Bay.

The house is beautiful, well laid out with gorgeous views. The kitchen is well stocked, our group enjoyed the hot tub. That being said, we had issues with one of the electric blinds in the living room not working, along with issues with the refrigerator. I made 3 phone calls to the VACASA management with NO help. They promised a repairman would come, no one contacted us or showed up! When we stayed at Eagles Nest a year ago, we had quick response, thirty minutes, to a problem with the furnace. VACASA management is horrible, we paid for service and did not receive any help!

The property is very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. I did have some difficulty prior to arrival due to a change in property management oversight so I didn’t know what their requirements were. Also, I could not get the entry code until the arrival day which is unreasonable to me. Texting seems to be the only communication mode so if you have a concern it is not easily resolved.

LOVED the property; everything we needed as a home away from home. Super clean, extra linens and extra everything. Check in/out on my phone; absolutely wonderful.
The surrounding area needs a Safeway and Target w/in 15 minutes; their stores are extremely limited and wayyy overpriced. If we stay there again, we will bring everything we need from home.
Restaurants are ok; overpriced for quality of food. But the property was AWESOME!!!

We stayed here for a fun girls weekend getaway! We wished we booked this place for an extra few days because it was blissful. The house is immaculate, the accommodation was so comfortable and instantly felt like home. The views out of every window are impressive and stunning! We loved waking up to the ocean view and enjoyed cooking in the beautiful and updated kitchen. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone who wants a gorgeous and peaceful home to take in the relaxation and restorative nature of the home and Bodega Bay.

This was our second time renting Eagles Nest and it was once again wonderful. The home is clean, tasteful, large, comfortable, and simple. Staring out the beautiful windows is all you need to do, we could never get enough. The more secluded yard gave a respite from the very heavy winds of our trip, thank goodness!

Not sure if it was built in the 1980’s, but it seems to be from that era and could use some updating. The location is fine, with stunning views of the ocean. It provides 3 en-suite bedrooms, which allows for guest privacy (though mattresses need an update, too). WiFI and TV reception were very good. Unfortunately weather was too cold for using the hot tub. Property management company was excellent - provided clear information, asked if we needed anything and responded quickly when we noticed there wasn’t any laundry detergent.
All in all, this is a pleasant, spacious, seaside, well-managed property, though somewhat overpriced for its condition and remoteness.

The home was lovely, even better than photographed, we especially enjoyed the views of the ocean. We were even treated to views of local wildlife daily, the deer seem to follow a trail right next to the house. We also took advantage of the many trails near the property. The kitchen was well equipped, the jacuzzi was very warm when we arrived and everything else as it should be for our stay. My only complaint was the bed in the upstairs bedroom needs replacing, very soft and lumpy.
Overall we had a great stay!
