No wifi. Management company promised action on this but none forthcoming, nor promise of hairdryer. The only way to communicate with property management was by WhatsApp which is not the same as the North American app. Nothing to indicate the property was up 10 flights of marble stairs. There were no numbers on the apartment doors, so didn’t know which was ours. No instructions on how to operate the appliances.

Nothing to like. The whole experience was a nightmare and we had to change the place because it was not possible to stay, because of the state o the property and arrogance of the host.

We have never, ever been offered such a filthy place in our years of traveling, even while sleeping in the cheapest hostels in our early 20s… The first thing that hit us as we came through the door was the smell of rot and damp. the bedrooms were squalid. Stained top cover on the bed, when taken back. revealed filthy, worn off blankets and dirty sheets, plus pillows that were too unhygienic to unwrap from wrinkled covers. Not to mention that all the bed sheets were damp, not dried at all. The entire apartment was reeking of damp, one bed in a twin room was propped up by a paint bucket. The walls in that bedroom were covered in mold, which makes it unsafe to stay, especially for the people with lung problems. All the bedrooms oozed uncleanliness, to sleep peacefully on the beds would have been impossible. The “host” boasted “breakfast included”. We were given two packers of long life sliced bread, an opened, used bottle of olive oil, a can of pate… All of this for 5 people. Before arrival we were asked to choose breakfast options from a much bigger list, and none of the requests were fulfilled. While the “hosts” claim it to be a non-smoking apartment, but don’t care that practically every piece of furniture in the apartment has cigarette burns on them, from the dining table to every bedside locker. We tried to sort the problem with the “hosts” but they were not helpful at all, and rude. Constantly interrupting us speaking, saying we can turn up the heating for the damp bedsheets to dry (!), and claiming it’s not their fault that the place is filthy and not ready to use, blaming students that were holidaying there in the summer. We lost half of our payment for the place, even though the “hosts” assured us that they will contact us to discuss further refund after Christmas. They never replied to our messages. There is no doubt that these letting agents should be avoided like the plague and any platform that hosts them should examine their dishonest practice.

Great location. Small but functional

I chose this apartment because it said breakfast included. It was a group of 12 people, so this was significant in my decision. A loaf of stale bread in the fridge is not breakfast included. I now had to pay for 2 breakfasts for 12 people which was beyond our budget and a massive disappointment and cost 140 euros

Clean, 2 bathrooms, easy access

It would be great to have a kettle to make tea and some tea towels.

I recommend everyone to avoid this host (Smart Rent) as far as possible. The host does NOT pay back the 90 EUR deposit what you have to pay to get the gate code. They claim you had some stuff damaged what you didn't and they just simply don't refund the money so be careful! The place itself is close to the beach but the flat in the reality is not like in the pictures but much more aged and used. We stayed 2 nights and the 2nd day we didn't have hot water. I could continue the bad experiences but there is no more space.

Dirty, uncomfortable beds, bad wifi, noisy

The apartment is really spacey and clean. Two bedrooms was nice for a traveling family. The household appliances looked new and were working fine. Breakfast stuff was brought in before arrival, and there was plenty for a continental breakfast. The staff was always helpful with text messages if needed.

There was a mobile application you should use when checking in, It worked fine, but it was a bit difficult to figure out at first when coming in with all your belongings and in a bit stressful situation. We didn't recognize the right door either at first, or its opening mechanism. Much of this was due to our own slowness, but extra clarity is always good. Fortunately the staff was very helpful by texting more information when we were coming in.

Location is perfect if you're traveling with car. Parking is free, if you can't find space, there is parking house across the street. Walk into town is app 20 min.

We waited 15 min for check-in for cleaning woman to finish her work. But all ok, nothing serious.

Great for a group of friends. Easy to walk into town along the sea front. Plenty of breakfast/tapas options near the apartment. Easy to check-in/out.

There was an unpleasant sewage-like smell in the third bedroom which meant we couldn’t use it. The other two bedrooms were fine.

They forgot about the breakfast. After the call to some person came with bag from mercadona with bread, jam and milk.

Beds with sheets that were still wet. Flat on a street very noisy.

Spacious, modern apartment located in a bustling Cadiz main street with plenty of excellent tapas bars, boutiques and supermarket within a minute's walk. The sea is only a 3 minute walk away and the views are spectacular. Quiet rooms despite the busy main street below. Easy check in and app service. We really appreciated the iron and ironing board, as well as the large cupboards for storing clothes.

Some of the bedding hadn't been properly laundered. The shower overflows easily into the rest of the bathroom due to a drainage issue. Top floor apartment without a lift, which was fine for us as we are young and mobile, but it is nevertheless quite a physical task to bring heavy items of luggage up to the fourth floor.

Was not easy to find. Door is at the side of a cafe as easily missed. Once you do find it its up a lot of stairs which the lights didnt work for at the bottom so needed phone torch light x
