East Torch Cottage
East Torch Lake Cottage - Perfetto per una vacanza in famiglia o una fuga di coppie questo nuovissimo 3 camere da letto 2 bagni ranch a casa offre un piano piano aperto e tramonti mozzafiato Torch Lake. A metà maggio ci sarà un grande mazzo in casa per rilassarti, goderti il caffè del mattino e guardare l'acqua o il dopocena bevanda per adulti e il tramonto. Assicurati di avere la fotocamera pronta per catturare quei tramonti. Sei a pochi minuti da Bellaire e Shorts Brewery, Mammoth Distillery e Bee Well Meadery. Le gite di un giorno alle Sleeping Bear Dunes, a Mackinaw Island, a Petoskey, a Charlevoix o a Traverse City sono fattibili in quanto ciascuna non è più di 2 ore di distanza. Porta o noleggia una barca, kayak o jet ski e goditi tutto ciò che il lago ha da offrire. Qualunque cosa tu decida di fare, avrai molti bei ricordi da portare a casa e ricordare in quelle fredde notti invernali. Questa proprietà ha una strada sterrata molto ripida. avresti bisogno di una trazione integrale o di un veicolo a 4 ruote motrici per scendere. Altrimenti, dovrai parcheggiare lungo la strada e scendere la ripida collina.

Always my #1 priority: cleanliness. The house was immaculate and had enough space and privacy for my family of 5. You can tell that there’s a lot of effort that goes into making guests feel at home, and we did! I will absolutely rent again, thank you!

Clean, spacious, great view

The house fit our two families of four nicely. It needs some updating like the stained carpet, kitchen island lights held up by electrical tape and water leaked out of the laundry room sink faucet if used. But overall did the job with a lot of space and lake frontage for family play or an easy boat ride to the hugh sand bar. Note to be prepared to have to moor your boat as you can’t leave it docked to the pier due to the lake can be very choppy periodically. Great outdoor back area to hang out. Great location to get to Alden and Bellaire. Butch’s down the road is awesome to grab stuff or order take out chicken. Shorts Brewery in Bellaire has great pizza for take out or hang out there to do a tasting flight. The location was also an easy 1 1/2 hour drive to Mackinac to take the ferry to the island or Sleepy Bear Dunes that we did a day trip to each.

This cabin has a wonderful location on torch lake and is relatively clean, however if you look closely, you will see some cob webs in lights etc. When you are paying well over $1000.00 for a weekend, then the outdoor furniture should be clean and ready to use. The carpet had been vacuumed but their are obvious stains. We were told to bring beach and bath towels but there was also no kitchen towels. The main bathroom has zero towel racks and the rack in the second bathroom was broken. The second bathroom’s sink is also leaking underneath the sink. The decor is very odd for a lake cottage and their some obvious signs it was done cheaply, i.e. the crown molding not fitting together well. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with useable items. I would recommend putting a code on the door so keys don’t have to be used.
There was a good amount of space and met our needs. Just would have liked to have seen a little TLC.
