MD Hotel Doksan

- great view from our room - friendly and helpful staff - variety of foods for breakfast

- location, very hard to find by train, we ended up having to take a taxi

Good location.

There was nothing I could fault

So many good food/coffee places near by and the staff were very helpful

It was a bit far from inner Seoul, but can be worth it if you plan to fly out later in the day

Breakfast was exceptional and breakfast room was good. Location was okay. Some staff were very friendly, although some staff not so friendly.

Attitude of some staff not so great. Rudeness is not a virtue and doesn't advertise a property in a very good light. Especially when it's on the front desk and obviously is exposed to everyone. A little disappointed to say the least. Air conditioning wasn't working in the room and the days were hot. Consequently didn't get much sleep. Not really acceptable for a four star hotel. Three stars at best and only because of some very pleasant staff that made up for the deficiencies. Overall I cannot be more positive as i'm usually more upbeat when making comments about my experiences. Air conditioning that doesn't work in a four star hotel is a step too far for me especially as it was pointed out and still the problem persisted. I'm sure many people will have a very positive experience and i'm sure it can be a very pleasant place if luck prevails.
