Location was superb for exploring Split and it was wonderful to have a pool in a city environment. Host was really friendly and helpful, with ideas for restaurants, historical sites etc. Room and ensuite bathroom were beautifully clean: checked and sheets etc changed if necessary.
There's absolutely nothing to dislike. Just be aware that there are steps up to the apartment from the street.

room good size; staff pleasant and welcoming; pool area nice
bed was not flat and was not acceptable, sleeping was hard; bathroom was not renovated to a good standard; air conditioning unit placed very strange so could not circulate air well in the room; ac very noisy; the biggest issue was the noise insulation of the room. it was very noisy at night and we were woken by other guests in the stairwell as the room connected directly to the stairwell
