The breakfast was excellent. Many types of food. The setting is bucolic - on the border of the small city and agricultural land. They have their own animals too.

A hidden gem! Located a little way off the lake, this hotel and restaurant is in a quiet village and very much worth the effort to find. An excellent welcome from the owners (I guess) who spoke great English, they take great pride in their restaurant, artwork, wind sculptures and presentation. All round one of the nicest hotels we stayed in touring France/Germany/Switzerland by cycle for three weeks. The restaurant in the evening was excellent with a great 'cellar', and breakfast was served to your table with ample choice and great quality. We certainly look forward to returning for a longer stay and using the hotel as a touring base in this lovely area around Lake Konstanz. Our room was huge with a balcony, very comfortable and quiet. Secure garage storage for cycles.

Staff made us feel like we were the only guests despite how busy they were.
I didn't like the two flights of stairs my elderly parent had to climb to get to their room.

A clean, modern hotel located in a pretty rural village on the swiss-german border. Located on quiet country road with little disturbance at night; ideal for the traveller on a long drive who wants a good night's sleep. Rooms are bright, functional with excellent bathroom facilities. A comfortable bed. Nice restaurant facilities with pleasant rural view. Breakfast was top-notch with really good breads. Free parking alongside hotel.
Also worth noting in these difficult times for travellers, the hotel is taking the COVID situation super-seriously and managing it very safely and competently.
Hard to find fault but I thought the bathroom towels could have been a bit bigger/thicker but....... yes this is really being super critical.

Excellent stay, we overnighted in the suite Zapa. A room with a view, an excellent room - spacious & original & arty ! Very quiet & clean. Comfortable!
