Beautiful Vacation Home Nestled Next to Mayan Ruins
Immersa nella giungla tra le rovine Maya e il Mar dei Caraibi a Playa del Carmen, in Messico, si trova Casa Kopfmann.
Playa del Carmen è una comunità internazionale situata lungo la Riviera Maya. Casa Kopfmann si trova a un isolato dalla spiaggia in una comunità privata recintata, Playacar.
La casa è stata progettata magnificamente con quattro camere da letto, tutte con bagno privato. Il primo piano della casa è perfetto per intrattenere / trascorrere le vacanze. Le porte persiane lungo l'intera facciata della casa si aprono sulla terrazza della piscina e sul patio. Una cucina completamente attrezzata che è aperta alla sala da pranzo e al soggiorno rendono questo livello un luogo perfetto per trascorrere del tempo con la famiglia o gli amici. Annidato privatamente nel retro della casa, con porte che si aprono sulla giungla, si trova la sala multimediale.
Ulteriori dettagli: Il secondo piano ha 3 camere da letto. Tutte le camere sono dotate di balcone e bagno privati.
La master suite si trova al terzo piano. Le porte del balcone si aprono su una vista spettacolare sull'oceano. Il salotto con balcone adiacente è nascosto privatamente dalle cime degli alberi della giungla.
Il tetto è una delle caratteristiche più distintive della casa. Con vista su Cozumel, una jacuzzi, amache e sedie a sdraio, puoi trascorrere giornate a prendere il sole e notti nella jacuzzi sotto le stelle.
David e Lynn si sono goduti le vacanze a Playa del Carmen dalla metà degli anni '80. Perché godono così tanto di questa zona del Messico, hanno deciso di costruire lì la loro casa di vacanza nel 2001. Godono di trascorrere del tempo a Playa in tutte le stagioni dell'anno.

Two families, with a total of seven people, just concluded our week long stay at Casa Kopfman. We had a wonderful time! The house met all expectations for size and comfort. If you’re looking for a Playa trip that feels like an authentic Mexican adventure rather than a typical cookie cutter resort, this is a great option. It’s hard to put into words just how amazing Esperanza, the property manager, was in creating our dream vacation. I honestly don’t think the word “no” is in her vocabulary. She prepped amazing meals, coordinated all taxi services, connected us with masseuses for private massages and even arranged for a private tattoo artist to come to the house. Anything we asked, she made it happen while exceeding all expectations.
Please note that the house is in a location surrounded by a lot of wildlife so don’t be surprised if you’re waking up to early morning sounds of birds chirping. We personally loved it but if you’re traveling with babies, this could be a challenge. Additionally, if a large family pool is a non-negotiable, this may not be the house for you. But the cleanest of Playa beaches is a five minute walk away (if not less). It was so fun seeing the wildlife everyday. And the home is within walking distance to great restaurants. As a bonus perk, the home is just minutes walking distance away from the Cozumel ferry which made a daily excursion super easy.
We will definitely be back!

Just got home from a fabulous week in this amazing home in Playa del Carmen.
The location is a perfect balance of access and privacy. Just a short walk to dozens of restaurants, fun shopping and night life. Steps to the beach with talc-soft sands and clear turquoise water - very good for swimming. The house is "close to it all" but also feels very private.
This is a large house - easily able to handle 8 people (2 families - 4 adults, 4 teens). Great for group dinners while allowing for private bedrooms each with their own bath/shower.
The rooftop patio and hot tub area is something truly unique and beautiful. The space is extremely well thought out - chaise lounges for relaxing, a seating area for conversation, snacks, and games and the huge hot tub. The area offers both direct sun and shaded areas depending on your preference. The star of the show is the VIEW….we could not get enough! The top floor patio overlooks the gulf waters with a clear view all the way to Cozumel. From early morning mists to the glowing Cozumel lights and stargazing at night, the view is constantly interesting and breathtaking.
Cannot say enough about the support we received from Esperanza, the local property manager. Even before we arrived, Esperanza helped us coordinate local transportation to/from the airport and day trips to Coba and other locations. The drivers were all on time and safe. Esperanza was extremely responsive and her home cooked meals were fantastic!

Wow, so close to the beach; we had fun walking and swimming there. We loved checking out the nearby ruins on our way to the downtown for dinner and shopping. We only used the car to get groceries since everything is close by.
The house was so spacious we never used several rooms. The whole family enjoyed the view from the top floor and spending time in the hot tub. The kitchen had every gadget we needed. We loved the expresso maker.
Probably the best vacation home we’ve ever stayed in.

Neither photos nor words can convey how amazing this house is. Our group of 5 had way too much space, but we didn't complain! The rooftop terrace is where we spent most of our time, from sun up to well past sunset. New Year's Eve was spent up there, with amazing fireworks! Esperanza, the property manager, cooked 3 dinners and 3 breakfasts for us, and Lucy kept the house spotless and washed many beach towels for us. The owner was very easy to work with and even had a surprise for us when we got there. I recommend this house 100%!
