The unit is small but well kept. We’ve stayed in other units at the Breakers so we expected this. The location is great for easy access to the beach, shopping and restaurants. And on-site parking is a great convenience. The only negative is that the Breakers sits right next to the public beach entrance. Hilton Head has added a ton of public parking nearby and it has led to a much more crowded beach. And now the rental beach chairs and umbrellas extend as far as the eye can see. Beach goers are squeezed in tight at high tide. But in general, it’s a very nice place to stay.

You can see the sunrise from the balcony. Everything you need is within walking distance. Clean, cute and cozy!

We had an amazing time and the condo was beautiful with the view and privacy. It is a very safe complex and was quiet and perfect for 2 to stay at.

Property is great for a couple. The unit itself has everything you need (although use of the TV was a little confusing) and was very comfortable. Also, it is walking distance to a little mall and some nice places to eat. Hope to go again sometime.

While we enjoyed our stay overall, there are definite pros and cons to this property: Pros - It couldn't be closer to the pool and the ocean. Just steps away from both. If the weather is warmer and you spend a lot of time at the pool/beach, then the unit might work really well in that scenario. - The deck fronts the ocean and has a limited peek-a-boo of the beach and the waves, but you could hear the sound of the waves. The deck was great on sunny, warmer mornings to have your morning coffee/tea and breakfast. - Within easy walking distance of Coligny Plaza with lots of shopping, coffee, ice cream, restaurants, theater, and a grocery store. - The unit comes with a beach gear credit, which was almost enough to cover the cost of two beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler for the week. - Savannah and Beaufort are about 1 hour away and Charleston is 2 hours away. Cons - The unit is small and most everything is on the smaller side (kitchen, dining table, living room, bedroom, bathroom, hallway, hot water heater). It works OK for two adults, but I wouldn't recommend groups larger than two. - Can hear every footstep from the unit directly above and you could almost hear/understand their conversations. Fortunately the guests above kept similar hours as we did. - The mattress needs to be replaced. Came home with a very achy lower back and did not sleep well the last few nights. - Unless you have a Roku account, your TV watching options are limited to the standard channels available on whatever cable/satellite subscription the unit has. - WiFi access kicks you off multiple times a day and requires you to login again each time. That was annoying. - The WiFi bandwidth was limited. While we could stream movies on my laptop, in spite of quite a bit of time trying, I could not get my Apple TV device to work with the TV/WiFi even though I could connect it directly with an HDMI cable and I could not get livestreaming to work between my laptop or iPad or iPhone on the TV in the living room or the bedroom. Overall the condo worked OK and the convenience to Savannah and Charleston was great.

This place is beautifully decorated. It was very clean. It is a small space, but worked beautifully for a Grandma, Mom and daughter long weekend. We would stay here again.

Loved the setting of this property, very short walk to the beach. Several shops and restaurants within walking distance.

This is an older property that is close to the beach. The balcony was always shaded and a cool breeze was blowing. You can sit out there and listen to the ocean. Pool is right there. Directly across street is Coligny Plaza with all the restaurants and shops one would want. Definitely recommend the Breakers.

The Breakers Hilton Head condo we stayed at was nicely furnished and equipped for summer renters. The Vacation Company rental agency was very responsive when the clothes washer needed to be repaired. We would like to come back to this location in the future when we return to Hilton Head.

The condo was as advertised. Good location and convenient to Coligny and the beach. Very satisfied with property.

This quaint condo is in an ideal location. We walked on the ocean daily and were close to dining and shopping. An added bonus is the heated pool. We will be back!

Great location. We would definitely consider staying in this unit again. It was nice having access to an in unit washer and dryer. The key-less entry was great for going to the beach or pool. The vacation company supplied high end shampoo, conditioner etc. We really appreciated those.

The condo was close to everything as I was celebrating my grandson's 13 birthday. He and his friend felt comfortable going to the beach, going to the pool and going to the Plaza as they called Coligny Square. The cute touches made the condo very cozy. Would love to visit again soon!

This is the best condo that we have stayed in the Breakers - it is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay! I love the walk in shower! Upgraded to the max! Only 2 small problems...the unit needs new pillows. The ones provided were very thin and they are not enough pots! Also could use some cheap storage containers!

We had what started out as an odd experience, having the realtor call us 2 days before our arrival to tell us that the condo had flooded. We were heartbroken. Luckily, while trying to find a new condo, the realtor called and said that it had been repaired. We got there to find out that the lock didn't work and then later discovered the wifi was not functioning either. The realtor worked hard to rectify our problems and were really helpful. By Wednesday it was all corrected. We loved the condo layout, decor and all the nice finishes. We were pleased with the lovely bathroom, big tvs and the nice (well-stocked kitchen). My husband is already talking about renting this again next year and all my friends that were in other units were envious of our condo. Loved that it was on the first floor.

This property was perfect for two of us! It had everything we needed including kitchen gadgets and a washer and dryer. It is very cozy and we felt right at home. Loved that we were steps from the beach and pool and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The shower in this unit is phenomenal!! Nice view of ocean. Rented bikes and rode them all over the beach and island! Spent lots of time relaxing on beach! Nice shops at Coligny Plaza. My husband took a half day fishing charter and had a great time! Skull Creek Boathouse Restaurant, OKKO Japanese/sushi restaurant (must drive to these) were well worth the car ride. Aunt Chiladas had great, reasonably priced margaritas and was a fun place to hang out and listen to some live music. I would love to come back next year and would definitely rent this condo again! There was one small thing that I would change...the free standing closets in the bedroom should be switched. The doors should open toward the wall, not the bed. The doors end up blocking the light and it's difficult to see what you are grabbing. Just a suggestion. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here immensely and hope to be back next April!! Thanks for helping our stay be so relaxing and enjoyable!!!!

I've stayed at the Breakers since 1989 and it's the perfect place and location for me. 116 is especially nice since it's first floor and ocean front. I stayed in 116 prior to it being listed by VRBO. You've made some really nice changes and upgrades. As far as I'm concerned, the price and location are ideal. I'll be there again for sure. Nice job.

Condo is in a great location, across the street from Coligny and Beach Market restaurants and shopping and near the Tiki Bar. Hilton Head Island has beautiful beaches and this condo is on one of the nicest stretches. This particular unit has a neat clean interior with updated washer/dryer/TV's/bath. The kitchen is furnished appropriately for a couple but don't plan on having much company, there is only seating for three at the table. These units are small with little storage, tho this one had a hall closet which replaced the bunk beds. As such it is better for a couple, more than 2 would have to use the couch. Being on the first floor you have a slightly dune obstructed view of the beach, while you can't see the beach itself you can see the ocean, it is direct oceanfront. One floor up and you'd see both. I would go back for sure, I'm giving you information to set expectation that while the location is convenient and the condo nicely updated it is small. More than 2 people would be cramped, and 2 may be if you are used to a king bed. Soundproofing was adequate, not great with the overhead noise but little noise from the units next door. I recommend this unit for 2 people, perhaps mother/daughter, couple, 2 friends. No elevator but being on the first floor steps were manageable. Bedroom window looked out at a wall, so no point in opening it for circulation, you are dependent on the A/C. Keyless entry means no need to keep track of keys, which is nice. Decent sized pool on complex, a group of middle aged male owners would gather there drinking with some inappropriate conversation not filtered for the families nearby. Seemed disdainful of the tourists which was a bit awkward. Get the wrong personality overhearing and you may have a problem. The owners definitely take good care of this unit and have decorated nicely for the beach. Property manager was readily available when I had question about the washer. Loved the wall hangings and décor. Go in knowing it's a small space and you won't be disappointed.

The location of the property was excellent...on the beach and close to Coligny Plaza, bike rentals, restaurants, and grocery stores. The property was clean and well kept. The villa was very nice, clean, and cozy with a great view of the ocean. The only issue that we had was that we could hear every movement of the guests staying in the villa above us. Other than that one issue the villa was perfect for our needs.
