We have visited Broughton in furness many times but never stayed or visited the King's Head and was pleasantly surprised. It's was lovely from the very start lovely friendly greeting room was comfortable and clean as this was a pub we expected some noise but it was so quiet and peaceful we had no problems parking right outside, the perfect location to travel around the Lakes we visited Windermere, Muncaster Castle by train and Silcroft beach
We eat in the pubs restaurant for the three nights we stayed and the food was excellent with friendly attractive staff. Breakfast was also very good. Would definitely recommend and stay ourselves again
If I was being picky I would have liked a firmer pillow but that is being really picky
