Location perfect. Clean beautifully decorated room, quality fictures & fittings, quality bed, bedding & towels, Wonderful artefacts, antiques & tapestries throughout.. Loved the hare lamps. Great staff & food. delighful old building, full of character. Delightful window boxes with classy artificial 'greenery' to improve view of back of building, a joy.

fruit & yoghurt would have been nice at breakfast.

Lovely cosy b&b Great shower and beautiful big towels Lady that greeted us for breakfast was lovely and we really enjoyed it. We stayed with our dog and it was easy to take him out for a wee early doors. Parking was available a short walk away and there was a few little shops bakery butchers and antiques shop.

Lovely olde-English inn with really homely bar (watch the low ceilings and doorways!). Staff were courteous, helpful and very friendly (as were the residents we met in the bar and the village). Be careful - the stairs to the rooms are steep! Overall, a very happy enjoyable stay. The room was small but very comfortable. The full English breakfast was excellent.

Hot tap wasn't working in the bathroom sink, but that was no problem as the shower worked fine.
