Upstairs is early 1900s with some original features; downstairs is a bit out of sync with style upstairs and dark because it’s the basement, but overall the house is well maintained and great for a large family or group. House is on a busy street so there is road noise. We walked to dinner every night - downtown is only 2 blocks away.

My family reallly enjoyed staying at Downtown Diggs. Wonderful location— easy to walk to the lovely downtown and playground. Really appreciated how responsive the mgt company was to our questions and requests. (Very close to wineries. We had an extraordinarily lunch and experience at AronHill winery). Fantastic pickleball community nearby.

We stayed in Downtown Diggs for five nights and overall it was a wonderful experience. There were seven of us staying and there was plenty of room. The location cannot be beat. For us it was less than a five minute walk to the restaurants in downtown Paso. The house was spotless and well stocked. The kitchen has great appliances and had everything we needed for the breakfasts and one dinner we had at the house. The management company was great. We had one issue with a toilet that ran for a very long time and maintenance arrived within two hours of our phone call to fix it. We had great weather so took advantage of the grill and the outside sitting areas. The grill's igniter switch was not working but that was easily fixed with a lighter. The only downside was the bed in the on suite bedroom on the main floor. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. It seemed very old and sagged towards the middle. My husband and I had a very uncomfortable night, and very sore backs, before switching to the other main floor bedroom which had a nice mattress. If that room had not been empty I don't know what we would have done because we could not have spent the entire stay in the other bed. I would recommend replacing that mattress. Otherwise this is a wonderful home in a wonderful location.

From the moment we unlocked the door, we knew we were going to have a wonderful wine tasting trip in Paso Robles. This quaint Victorian-style house was perfect for our large party of 8 adults. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and there was even an extra bedroom to escape a snoring husband! The property was actually better than described. It was a hot weekend and the air conditioning worked perfectly. There was plenty of room to relax, great outdoor spaces, kitchen and dining areas. The outside deck was lovely at night and perfect for stargazing. We even saw the international space station and the Starlink satellite caravan pass by - it was awesome! Just a short walk into town, we were able to go to dinner without having to drive. Dinner at Fish Gaucho and Hatch was delicious, as was our home-cooked lasagna dinner on Saturday night. All the wineries we visited were fantastic too. Communication with Paso Vacation Rentals was super easy and professional. We definitely plan to visit this property again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Wonderful vacation property in best location. We walked everywhere. Lots of great restaurants and shops and took the kids to the play ground at the park. The house was big and had everything we needed. Big, fun kitchen, multiple patios, porch and hot tub. BBQ too. At night the bistro lights made for an enchanting experience. I highly recommend this clean, organized and large home for a vacation. We will stay again.

I booked this property to celebrate a milestone birthday and invited my kids and their partners. The house was perfectly clean, the rooms were comfortable and the location was so close to downtown that it made it easy and fun to walk to restaurants and shopping.Check in was smooth and easy and there is ample parking off the street. A perfect house for a larger group!! We have stayed in Paso Robles many times but we have never had a house this big and this close to DT. It was beautiful and classy without any limitations. It rained almost the entire weekend so we did not get to use the outdoor area, but even then the house was so spacious we had no issues with 5 couples. DT is 2 blocks away which made it much easier for us to do quick grocery runs or pick up food. We loved it and will be back!

Absolutely lovely. It is a very clean beautiful old home with an updated kitchen and baths. Warm, inviting, and yet very quiet. Bonus is that is walking distance to shops in town. Management was very responsive and easy to work with.

Amazing property. Our family quarantine crew was able to enjoy a nice little getaway in a gorgeous and practical home. Not only is the house super nice and comfortable, but it is also very practical and was able to accommodate all of us comfortably - including young children and an infant! We hope to return post-pandemic so we can better enjoy the downtown area (which is walkable), but the kitchen was able to meet our needs very nicely - we enjoyed many home cooked meals there and had quality time with family. Cannot say enough nice things about this place. Barring a few minor needed updates, the home was in excellent shape and the owners made sure that guests had all the necessary amenities. Once of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed in!

May sisters and I had a great, great time at your property. Loved it. Having had vacation rentals in the past, I have just a few suggestions for your rental. These are not criticisms, just suggestions: 1) Some of the bathrooms need shelving to put cosmetics on. 2) Need some scissors in kitchen or elsewhere in the house. 3) Need a measuring cup with measurements on the cup. 4) Need a top to the blender 5) the pocket door handles and regular door handles are dirty 6) The pocket door in the first upstairs bedroom does not close (no latch to close it) 7) TV upstairs does not function with current directions.
That's all we could think of . It's a great place and you have done an outstanding job on its upkeep as far as we could tell. We can't wait to stay there again. Thank you so much!!!!

This was our second stay in the home and hopefully there will be more. The only thing I would like to see improved are the beds in the two upstairs bedrooms. The bed in one of the bedrooms is so high that it requires a step stool to climb into and the mattresses in both rooms should be replaced. Not necessary to replace the lovely old four-poster bed frames, just the mattress and box springs and lower the one bed so it is easier to get into.

It is a large house in a great location. Our group would recommend the following upgrades:1- add shelving in the bathrooms. Pedestal sinks are pretty but not very convenient.2- add curtains in the windows. The sunlight is blinding in the morning.3- please provide steak knives4- we had trouble with the TV in the den (upper floor). Reception was blurry at times and the sound came in erratically.5- check the pedestal sink in the hallway. It is not attached to the wall correctly.6- we could not figure out how to control the upstairs thermostat. The instructions do not match the model on the wall.The appliances are top notch. The house is in a great location. We walked to restaurants and to the park.

This was a wonderful location for our multi-generational Thanksgiving gathering in Paso Robles. The size of the property, plenty of bathrooms, multiple "hang-out" areas, the hot tub, the dining table large enough for us all to sit together for dinner, the well appointed kitchen, and the VERY easy walk to town (and the playground!) made this perfect for our family. With both grandparents and kids (aged 1 to 6), there was enough space and fun for everyone both on the property and in town. While the lighting could use a refresh (and several lamps seemed to not work at all), all-in-all the place was clean, comfortable, functional, and a great place to gather as a large family. Highly recommend Downtown Diggs!

We were celebrating several 60th birthdays with a week of wine tasting and sightseeing. The house was a great location with all bedrooms comfortable . The kitchen met our basic needs. We were not able to use outside dining as expected because there are no lights in lower yard. Staff was always helpful and informative when called or emailed. We would recommend to friends and family.

We so enjoyed our long weekend with our 10 friends in this lovely home. The dining room table saw a lot of card playing, laughs, and wine drinking. The weekend we were there was one of the hottest on record and we were so grateful for the amenities to cook in the home and to be in air conditioning.It was a birthday weekend that will not be forgotten.
