This property was wonderful. The attention to detail was a 10/10. It felt like a home that was lived in rather than a rental, because of the quality of furnishings and thoughtfulness. The beds and bedding were really comfy.
The property itself is gorgeous and private. We loved not being able to see or hear neighbors. The outdoor living space was also lovely. It was too hot to use the outdoor fireplaces, but next time! We had a great time with the pool table and video games inside. We didn't get to the bocce or horseshoes or volleyball.
We will be back :)

We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous property. The outside was breathtaking at night with the lighted trees and the inside was immaculate and spacious. My elderly father had no issue getting around, and our two teenagers had a blast in the hang out room on the ground level. We would definitely recommend to large parties and those who are looking for a cabin in the woods!

Great trees get away
We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous property. The outside was breathtaking at night with the lighted trees and the inside was immaculate and spacious. My elderly father had no issue getting around, and our two teenagers had a blast in the hang out room on the ground level. We would definitely recommend to large parties and those who are looking for a cabin in the woods!

As the above title describes we were at the Chalet during a snowy long weekend. It is a pristine property and beautiful home. We hiked, show shoed, soaked in the hot tub and spent many hours around the fireplace.
The home is well stocked and very comfortable.
We brought our dog and there were plenty of blankets and toys for her to enjoy.
The hosts presented us with a wine and treats for both the people and our dog.
I would love to stay in the Chalet during the summer as I expect the hiking in that area would be beautiful.

Winter wonderland Chalet
As the above title describes we were at the Chalet during a snowy long weekend. It is a pristine property and beautiful home. We hiked, show shoed, soaked in the hot tub and spent many hours around the fireplace.
The home is well stocked and very comfortable.
We brought our dog and there were plenty of blankets and toys for her to enjoy.
The hosts presented us with a wine and treats for both the people and our dog.
I would love to stay in the Chalet during the summer as I expect the hiking in that area would be beautiful.

MAGICAL AND CALMING
Such a well furnished home, so many cute touches to the interior and exterior. Nice surprises await. Will definitely
stay here again and again. The only complaint is the main floor bedroom pillows need replacing.

Winter Wonderland
This was our second stay at the cabin and it was as good if not better than the first. It has the perfect vibes for a mountain getaway and all the amenities you could ask for. The steam shower in the primary bedroom is just what you need after a hard day of playing in the snow. We look forward to our next stay.

Gorgeous property in excellent location
Our family— grandmother, two adult daughters and their partners, and two grandchildren (8 and 11)—stayed at this beautiful home over Thanksgiving. The property is quite convenient to Truckee and the Tahoe basin but also feels removed in a lovely way, off a long driveway, with beautiful views and surrounding woods. The kitchen was the best equipped I’ve encountered in many home-away stays. The owner was friendly and responsive to questions. I can’t say enough good things about the experience,

An excellent return booking!
Our family found this amazing property last year and enjoyed 3 weeks of beauty and comfort again this year. The house is perfectly appointed, and there are so many thoughtful assets; multiple high end air purifiers, a perfectly maintained jacuzzi spa, plenty of towels and linens, a pantry that is beautifully stocked, great game room fixtures, and a kitchen with excellent appliances and tools. The furniture is comfortable and also fresh and thoughtful. While it is not in downtown Truckee, it is just a few minutes away from a new Raley's One grocery, and a short drive to town. This is a place where you feel at home and are happy to settle in. There are trails around the property and it is private and quiet. The owner/property manager has always been available for questions and extremely helpful. We would highly recommend staying here. It is an exceptional and unique property.

We all loved hanging out on the deck and lower patio taking in the beautiful scenery and our puppy loved running around in the corral connected to the house. Wonderful Relaxing Weekend
What a great three nights. Everything was so clean. We had plenty of firewood. The playroom was well stocked with things for the kids to do. We played a pool tournament. The beds were comfortable and clean. I cannot stress enough how important it was for a neat and tidy place to visit. This home was A+ on this topic. I had fun cooking in the kitchen as well. Our German Shepherd had a blast too. Look forward to renting again. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

It is clear a lot of thought went into creating an "Experience" and they 100% succeeded!

What a fabulous experience we had renting this gorgeous home! The home owners were so thoughtful and attentive. The property is incredible with acres to explore for our kids and dogs. We had the best time and will be sure to book again!

Tahoe Chateau
We booked this house for our first overnight trip to Tahoe and also our first time taking our kids skiing. We invited my sister and her family as well. We travel a lot, 100+ days per year in hotels & houses and can say this house was ideal. The attention to detail was extremely high. The house is a perfect mixture of cozy mountain house, that's clean and upgraded. Katharina was super communicative throughout the entire process and went to extra lengths to make sure our needs were met. The fireplace at the house is incredible and plenty of firewood was provided, which was a huge perk. Clean sheets and towels, a well equipped kitchen and a great outdoor jacuzzi were all bonuses. Amazing house, gorgeous property!
We recently stayed at this rental as a getaway to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday, staying for several days just before the holidays. We completely fell in love with this house, adults and kids alike. The house itself is in great condition and so charming, with so many nice touches. It was clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated for the holidays. We spent every afternoon exploring the property, building snowmen and having snowball fights - as well as playing on a mini sled run in front of the house. We had such a wonderful vacation at this house - we can't wait to come back!

Just minutes to downtown Truckee but feels very private and remote. Excellent hosts with great communication and instructions. Oh - and the house and grounds are super dog friendly.

Everything we hoped it would be and more!
This is a fabulous property! Extremely clean house and well maintained grounds. The kitchen is very well equipped. Lots of attention to detail in the home. Hot tub, fire pit, gorgeous fireplace, large new grill, tons of fire wood, extra propane tank, seriously everything you could need! The dogs enjoyed running around in the dog corral. Owners are very conscientious and responsive. They made themselves readily available to answer any question. Would stay at this property again in a heartbeat!! So grateful for this excellent experience in beautiful Truckee.

It's on it's own 10 acres, so you feel like you are in your own house in the middle of the forest. And the owners have stocked it with everything you need to just enjoy your time there - we spent almost all our time relaxing, looking at the forest, cooking, and enjoying the game room. The owners are also lovely, staying in constant touch to make sure that everything went well - we really appreciated the personal touch. Will definitely try to go back again!
P.S. I think our dog loved the place even more than we did - he loved exploring the surrounding forest and wandering around the dog 'corral' (more like a full plot of land in SF)!

It's on it's own 10 acres, so you feel like you are in your own house in the middle of the forest. And the owners have stocked it with everything you need to just enjoy your time there - we spent almost all our time relaxing, looking at the forest, cooking, and enjoying the game room. The owners are also lovely, staying in constant touch to make sure that everything went well - we really appreciated the personal touch. Will definitely try to go back again!
P.S. I think our dog loved the place even more than we did - he loved exploring the surrounding forest and wandering around the dog 'corral' (more like a full plot of land in SF)!
