Check in was easy. Location was great. Plenty of parking. Upon check in the first thing we noticed was some trash around the trash bins outside on the ground that had not been cleaned up and beer bottle lids on the ground. Upon entering , overall it looked clean but during our stay we noticed the following: Drawers/cabinets that hold utensils not clean, cabinets were sticky. Not enough cookware. Bottom Refrigerator drawer broken. Coffe pot resevoir not clean. Tub in master bath- jets looked black and not clean. For this reason did not get to use the tub. No tables on upper deck to sit things on while grilling. Door to main level balcony would not lock. No chairs, table, or hooks to hang towlels on bottom deck where hot tub was. Hot tub dirty. Bottom game room floor sticky and dirt under couch. No trash can in game room bar area. Bottom room shower floor very dirty. Could not open outside trash bins to put our trash in. Propert appears to get a surface only clean but rarely a deep cleaning.

Cabins in the Gatlinburg area have really gone downhill. It's nice to see a management company that takes care of their properties. I will definitely stay with them again, they have lots of choices so I think we will try something else. We booked directly on Elk Springs web site and found the best rate.

This is the 3rd time we stayed at this cabin over the years. We were very disappointed this time. As soon as we entered 1/2 the lights in the kitchen were out, the ice maker was frozen and when you sat on the couch you sank to the floor. There was food on the floor from the last occupant and the cabinets were all greasy. There was dust on the furniture and they did not disclose we couldn’t use the fireplace. When we took the center mat off the dining table it stuck with all the old food that was under it. After a great trip to Abrams Falls we tried to use the jacuzzi finding dirt in the bottom of it, pieces of purple plastic floating in it and the aerators not working. When I used the out door grill I found the floor beneath it coated with a large pile of grease from previous uses. This was once a great cabin but its now rundown and ill kept. I DO NOT recommend staying at this cabin until it is cleaned, repaired and updated.

For years my family and I have only used Elk Spring Resorts for our cabin trips. They have always been extremely clean, well equipped with basic necessities, amazing decor, and in great locations. This trip in 2022 Nov was way different. There were things broken like the fridge, blood stains on our let out sofa, the beds and tables in every room was sticky with some sort of smudge, the rocking chairs were broken outside I nearly hurt myself, the Tv’s were so tiny compared to our previous trip with the same resort. All in all the cleaning crew did not do a good job and whoever is suppose to restock and repair didn’t do a good job neither

Cabin was located in a nice area and was easy to get to. I would say it was as clean as I expected for such a large cabin. Some of the floors still felt dirty. There isn’t much lighting for a cabin this size and we found it was dark. During the day the large windows provided much needed light but at dark or on a cloudy day the cabin could use more lights. Several of the light bulbs were out or flickered on and off but I did not contact anyone to bring new bulbs. The theater room was amazing! By far our most favorite part of the cabin.

I have been to Gatlinburg maybe four times now and this has probably been my least favorite. Not to say it was all bad. Location was nice. Plenty of space for parking! Cabin was also clean. Just me and my fiancé stayed in this large cabin. Very spacious and plenty of space for a group of 12. All necessities as far as utensils, toiletries, and soaps were provided.
The view was not as nice as i would of liked, the surround sound did not work. Sound came off projector which wasn’t loud at all. Sauna room was too big for heating unit. Heat was very minimum. Also the power went out about 2am. After a call to the service line power was restored within 20 minutes. I will say that was handled well. Not sure i would choose this resort next time we visit

A good cabin for a short trip, but is pretty outdated. Bedrooms are large and spacious. The drive up to the cabin is very steep, definitely need a car with 4 wheel drive. Overall was a pleasant cabin.

The biggest problem we had was the adjustment of heat and air. The bottom floor was freezing , the middle was good and the top floor was burning up. You could put some ac units in top floor. One room had no vent all on top floor. We had brought several box fans to help. Had a broken HDM1 chord for movie theatre when we arrived. It was repaired the next day. The maintenance staff was very prompt when called. The management office was very attentive and addressed matters immediately. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Contact between office and maintenance was great, unfortunately we had several issues with repairs that were resolved quickly. I feel the property was in need of a thorough cleaning in corners and under furniture. Was surface clean and kitchen was well stocked. The cabin could use some freshening up. Slightly outdated with bedding. We overall had a great vacation and did not let the issues get in our way. Check in and check out was very efficient and the office staff and especially the maintenance man (Isaiaz) was awesome took care of issues promptly. Would not rate this a luxury property

Downstairs bed occupant reported bed bug bites. Hopefully all of these will be addressed.

It was amazing! Our small group loved every second. The hot tub with a view was excellent. They even were able to refresh the water while we were out zip lining (put in a request through a text!) So easy! Almost Heaven is located at the end of the road, out of the way of other cabins. We will be back!

We loved everything about staying here, especially the bedrooms, theater room, hot tubs, and jacuzzi tubs. However, the house was overrun with millipedes during our stay. They were everywhere in the basement and in a number of places on the ground floor. The maintenance team had an exterminator come out to spray and sweep up the dead ones he could find, but they were still everywhere (crawling in then dying on our carpet).

No other words to describe this place but perfect!!! It was clean and spacious! The view was gorgeous. The only negative thing I have to say was that the fireplace didn’t work, but we were so happy and occupied by everything else it really wasn’t a big deal. This was actually my second time coming to the Elks. And I plan on returning again!

The cabin location was very nice and the views are amazing. One of the masters has a view from the shower with a rain shower head that’s a great experience. The cons of the cabin are that it has a gravel road that is very steep and in terrible shape. The handrail on all levels was rotting, one of the guest actually leaned against the hand rail and one of the spindles fell out. This could have been a lot worse if it would have been a child being that is was over 20’ off the ground. The cabin just seemed to be lacking in the general maintenance. We also had one other issue with worm like bugs all over the cabin. We complained once and they came out and sprayed and cleaned the worms up and the next day it was the same. I’m not talking about a few bugs I’m talking hundreds of them. So many that you had to wear shoes because avoiding stepping on them was impossible. We made the best of it after the bug guy said it was just that time of the year. We travel to Gatlinburg twice a year and always rent a cabin. This was the most expensive cabin we have ever stayed in and it had better views then we have ever had but with the bugs and the damage to the handrail it was hard to relax so we spent most of our time out of the cabin.
