Charming facilities truly have a southern french flair. The welcome area with fireplace is charming, breakfast was nice. Wish we had time for spa and pool.

Unfassbar schöne Unterkunft mit Charme, sehr freundliches, hilfbereites Personal, hervorragendes Frühstück im angrenzenden Restaurant, 2 Minuten Fußweg bis zur Küste und dem Cliff Path, viele Restaurants sowie Einkaufsstraßen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten erreichbar. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Auberge Burgundy Hotel

Die Unterkunft ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und hatte für uns eine perfekte Lage. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Great staff & top location.

Unfortunately for the hotel there is a major.a building project happening next door. However, for our stay at least, it was not a problem & they finish at 5.

Location was great. Bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was very limited to just one dish of mains from the neighboring restaurant which had tiny portion sizes. The washroom was too small and a bit dingy. The doors are not sound proof and you can hear anyone even walking outside.

Lovely atmospheric old property, in a great location. Breakfast at Frances ( next door) was great, especially the pancakes. Parking on site for about 4 cars.

I feel that to have to pay R22.00 for a cup of tea when finishing breakfast as you are only one cup of tea or coffee as part of the meal is in poor form and spoils the experience. Breakfast normally allows tea or coffee before and after breakfast.

Great, central location and wonderful service. The little room off the lobby with a fire and a complimentary glass of port was a lovely touch. Umbrellas for use when raining (we went in the winter) also a nice touch and the breakfast was excellent.

Lovely place, been twice and enjoyed it each time. The property does its best to mitigate the inconveniences of load shedding.

Location was super central , a few steps away from ocean walk and wonderful restaurants . The staff were really helpful and the breakfast was delicious . The staff was very responsive and organised our Southern Right Whale trip. Also had a wonderful massage at the Spa.

Our door was swollen from wet weather so it was a struggle to open and close. Bathroom also had a slight damp smell.

Absolutely stunning hotel. The staff were incredible- they couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel decor is beautiful. We loved the lounge area with the open fire. Room was stunning and the bed was so comfortable. We went to the spa and the massage was brilliant. So many lovely little touches like the hot water bottles in the bed because it was cold. Breakfast in the restaurant next door was delicious. Couldn’t recommend enough!

The service is exceptional! nothing was too much trouble and the team went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The front desk arranged dinner bookings for us. Breakfast is included the luxury of an a la carte menu, the coffee, pasties and cooked breakfast prepared and served professionally. The spa treatment (couples massage) is out of this world - again one of the best we’ve experienced. Overall this was the best place we’ve stayed in, in Hermanus.

We had an excellent stay. We were the only guests in the hotel so were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Stunning view out across the bay. Room was spotless clean and very comfortable. We were able to check in early and leave our car which perfect. The breakfast in the cafe next door was exceptional. The lounge in the evening with the fire and complimentary port and sherry was a nice touch!

Auberge Burgundy is really conveniently located in the center of Hermanus. The rooms are well decorated and comfortable and the attention to detail (like the fantastic loading shedding kit) is excellent. And the restaurant serves a delicious breakfast. But what really sets it apart are the incredible staff - both Lachante and Jasper were friendly, professional and went beyond anything expected of them to make guests extremely comfortable despite all the challenges of an extended power outage in the town.

the location is about perfect, the building is lovely, you imagine yourself to be on the Provence, and trust me, I have been there many,many times.

The location is in the heart of the tourist area. Across the street from the hotel is the whale watching cliff walk which is fantastic! the room amazing. the was even an owl that perched in the tree outside our window.
