Hermanus Lodge on the Green - Solar Power

The space was clean, peaceful and comfortable

Beautiful

Friendly staff

The styling and ambience of the lodge was beautiful, thoughtful touches and lovely staff who attended to every need. Very quiet and peaceful. Nicely away from the hussle of Hermanus. Perfect.!

Other customers’ inconsiderate parking in a tight carpark and using phones on loudspeaker during the beautiful breakfast. Maybe some notices/reminders could be left around.

Lovely position on the golf course

Hermanus lodge -4 star rating ◦ On the surface all looks clean - but scratch away at the veneer and it’s a different story. ◦ Moved rooms - old broken & rusty little bar fridge - needs a serious upgrade. ◦ Kettle hadn’t been de calcified since it was bought - all yellow inside ◦ Toilet seat is broken - ◦ No maintenance is done ◦ Previous room - bedsides the putrid odour from the plumbing - the underneath of the one chairs stuffing coming out. ◦ The wooden kist is falling apart - the aircons in both rooms don’t work properly - no heat and it was chilly. Lovely fireplace in communal longe - Such a pity care is not taken - in the upkeep it needs a serious revamp - staff are very pleasant- but money is not being put back into the property which is a pity as this is a 4 star property.
