The venue had a modern feel and restaurant served good food. Room was nice and clean with fan and lots of coffee and tea.

Bit confused over parking. On booking.com said free parking behind which I followed. After going in the gates closed behind me it was a housing car park. The carpark is to the left of this big car park. I had to phone a resident to let me out as my car was locked in. After explaining he let me out. I managed to park down the road. I questioned it via email with another problem and was told that room does not include parking. When I booked my room it didn't state which room I had so didn't know didn't have parking. Other problem was fan didn't work but they replaced it. As it's a restaurant down stairs was noisy till about 10.30pm about to fall asleep then about. 1120pm loud bangs like the door kept being heard. Like someone was trying to close it but wouldn't shut. I questioned if was staff but was told it wasn't..

Breakfast was very good, especially the catering of gluten free options, thank you. We didn't use the restaurant but the menu looked fantastic, next time.

The location. The restaurant is interesting, the food was delicious and service 5 star.

The stairs and hallway up to our room looks tired and the walls could do with smartening up and the carpet looks grubby. However the room was lovely with lots of space and character and a comfy bed.

The room was fine, with a firmish bed and the bathroom was good with decent shower. Efficeint check-in and a good deal in the restaurant wiht the special deal for starter/main/glass of wine.

There was not much space and aging furnishings. No power supply near head of bed, old TV without HD and not smart, all looks dated. Worst feature was corridor carpet with thick. engrained dirt. Very unappealing.
