Great location on the waterfront . Great single room with direct seaview very nice. Great bathroom with shower.
Parking is at an extra small charge for a street permit , which is the same for all Whitby guesthouses that don’t have their own car park. It’s very easy and convenient and much cheaper than the meters.
Great breakfast , I had local kippers ( amazing )with scrambled eggs . Also cereals fruit
Emma and Zen are very nice always smiling !
Whitby is a bit noisy at night , people on the street a little but drunk and chatty … possibly smoking something ! But that’s Whitby and nothing to do with the Riviera , come here and you will have to expect this . It doesn’t go on for long snd they are not over the top or intimidating . They are having a good time , I noticed it because it was hot and I had my window open . I’m sure they were also cooling off at the end of their night out!
