The Cape Milner has such a calm, intimate and serene atmosphere that it genuinely feels like an escape from the city outside. My room was absolutely beautiful - spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully designed - and the king-size bed was exceptionally comfortable. I had one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in a long time.
Dinner was terrific, the atmosphere throughout the hotel was lovely, and I found the whole experience incredibly relaxing. After a long day of travelling, arriving here and being able to simply unwind felt like pure bliss.
The renovations are temporary; the warmth, comfort and character of this hotel are what I’ll remember. I only stayed for one night, and I genuinely wish it had been longer.
Thank you to the team at The Cape Milner for such a wonderful start to my time in Cape Town. I would happily return. ❤️
I’ll admit that arriving while renovations are underway initially made me a little apprehensive, particularly with the scaffolding around the entrance. However, the moment I stepped inside, that impression completely disappeared.

Perfect location, 5 to 10min to most main tourist attractions. Easy access, professional and friendly staff always willing to help.
Noise from renovations, make it impossible to sleep in a bit and enjoy an easy morning.

The staff was very friendly, the room comfortable and clean. Free coffee and tea on the room. Your bed is made up for the night. Overall a very good experience. Location is good
The hotel undergoes severe construction and the guest is not informed on the extent of this. Substantial construction is taking place from 7:30 am until 16:00 from Monday to Saturday. I feel the hotel should inform the guests in advance to make a decision on whether they will accept this or not.
