Best Western St Svithun Hotell

Room had good enough space, the radiator with the possibility to regulate temperature, good bathroom with a shower (no lock though). The breakfast is very good, with a broad variety of food, drinks, fruits. We also got a possiblity to take breakfast boxes when checked out earlier than breakfast started. The price per night was one of the best for the hotels located within a walking distance to the downtown (approx. 2-2.5 km, ca 25 min walk). Stayed in the end of July-beginning of August 2026.

When we came about 1.5 hours earlier than check-in time, we got the answer from personnel that the room is not ready and we had to wait until exactly the check-in time that was not a pleasant surprise. Such experience was first for us: in the hotels of other countries we always were welcomed to check in even if we came earlier than official check-in time. At our stay time the was a renovating period in the building, so we had a view on the renovation area with the workers doing their jobs and respective sounds :-) No fridge to store food in the room, neither a kettle to make a cup of tea. The parking is quite expensive.

Colazione abbondante, non tantissima scelta, ma c'è un po' di tutto. La struttura è molto ben servita dai mezzi con la fermata dell'autobus piuttosto vicina. Personale gentile e cordiale. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

La camera che ci è stata assegnata era un po' risicata per tre persone come eravamo noi, ma ci siamo adattati tranquillamente. Il fatto che la struttura abbia entrata comune con l'ospedale a noi non ha creato fastidi come sottolineato invece da qualcun altro, ma questa è una cosa soggettiva

Ottima posizione per visitare Stavanger. La camera era spaziosa e pulita.

La camera era un po’ datata. Non c’era un bollitore elettrico ne il frigorifero. Durante il soggiorno non vengono rifatti i letti. La colazione e’ un po’ scarsa per quanto riguarda il dolce. C’erano solo delle brioches vuote. Il cibo salato invece abbondava e c’era la frutta fresca.
