Very close to the port, paid parking directly below the hotel, and a good breakfast to start the day.

I arrived at lunch time. Got the message that check-in time was 15 even if threre were clean rooms available. Could get a room if I paid extra. Very bad experience.
The room was dark. small space for clothes, no shelves. Water was leaking both from the shower and the washbasin.
The man in the reception came up for inspection and saw the problem. He gave me a new and upgraded room.

super quiet room, comfortable bed, good signage, drinkable water, good shower/bathroom, fine temperature, friendly, helpful staff, super location, wonderful guidance booklet, plentiful sockets and lights in room, lift and stairs easily accessible, 24/7 reception, free buffet breakfast and extra room items nearby as needed. no disturbing daily cleaning and better for environment. Great value for money.
a better labelled range of vegan breakfast items would have been ideal. could have had a more secure toilet seat in room (was very loose)

staff were very helpful. nice to have free hot drinks available. The outside of the building is a bit dull but it’s so close to everything you would want to visit so very convenient. Good breakfast. Worth it.
