Park Hotel Ai Pini & Restaurant Ai Pini

The staff helped me book a taxi for the morning.

The staff made me wait until after 2 pm to receive my room. I arrived early (before check in time) but notified them the day before that I would. Then they offered bus services to the 3 families that showed up at 2 pm but never provided me with that information. They also never provided me a place to store my bags so I could go explore Venice. The room was a little dirty and had mold and broken tiles in the bathroom (including a floor tile that was unstable). I also thought it was weird to have a hand towel holder/rack hanging directly over the bidet so my hand towel kept landing in the bidet which is gross. The hotel was not really near anything. The one or two restaurants nearby had ok food but not really good food. I also had breakfast included but needed to leave at 2am. They did not offer me anything to go, which for a 4 star hotel I thought they might.

The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for two adults and two children. The breakfast was nice, with a good variety of options. The staff was kind, welcoming and helpful including assisting us with the bus tickets. The bus station to Venice is very close to the hotel.

The neighborhood surrounding the hotel was not particularly appealing, and I would not feel entirely comfortable returning by bus late at night. The restaurant was pleasant and served good food, but the service was quite slow.
