The outside courtyard were a bonus. It was historical and quirky.

MY SON AND I AND OUR DOG STAYED IN THE LAMB A YEAR AGO AND LOVED IT. WE RETURNED IN SEPT 26 AND WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED THAT THEY REMEMBERED US. THE ROOMS WE WERE ALLOCATED WERE BEAUTIFUL WITH ALL THE AMENITIES, BOTTLED WATER, NESPRESSO MACHINE, TEA, SHORTBREAD BISCUITS, LARGE TOWELLING ROBES, HAIRDRYER ETC. THE BEDS ARE SUPER COMFY AND WE BOTH HAD THE BEST UNINTERRUPTED SLEEP. BREAKFAST WAS LOVELY WITH A WIDE CHOICE AVAILABLE INCLUDING A SAUSAGE FOR NERO. THE STAFF COULDN'T DO ENOUGH FOR US.

Breakfast was very good. We didn't have dinner there. We enjoyed the bar, and the garden was particularly nice to sit outside and have a drink in.
Re the room - there were a lot of low sloping beams and my partner kept having to duck, to avoid bumping his head. He didn't always succeed.
