Good size room, nice staff, lovely terrace overlooking river. Bed very comfortable

Room hot but used air conditioning unit

Beautiful room, warm welcome, scenic location within walking distance of the main town and cathedral.

Breakfast coffee was not good (weak filter) and when requested an Americano or cappuccino (was happy to pay extra for), we were told only after 10am. Otherwise, a real pleasure.

Reasonable size room and a good view over to Salisbury Cathedral. Beds OK

There was no internal phone system. Could not contact reception or housekeeping. This mattered because the hot water failed in the hotel due to a central breakdown. While I accept these things happen we could not contact reception who made no effort to contact us. We were badly kept advised and when I enquired what they would do if the water was not restored the reception staff had no idea. Fortunately it was reinstated The internal lighting in the bedroom was totally inadequate.i require a decent light to read by and there was not one in this room Breakfast was a buffet and adequate. Eggs were overcooked. Could not get a hot coffee in the bar after 9.30 on a Saturday night as the coffee machine was cleaned overnight in the kitchen.the bar was otherwise deserted. There was no restaurant but there were signs up outside offering lunch deals. Nothing was mentioned to us in the hotel
