Staff are attentive and paid attention to what visitors asked for frequently and made an effort to provide (especially noted at breakfast). A good breakfast that will keep you full for the day but not as traditional of an English breakfast as you imagined. Room is compact and clean and comfortable.
Rooms on ground floor faced the street directly and if you have your windows open, unfortunately the smell of cigarette, drugs and car exhaust fumes will come right in. Also attracts an extortionate amount of insects to your room. WiFi is very patchy at times. Could have really make use of breakfast to showcase local made butter/ jam/ cheese and other ingredients that will enhance it more.

Clean and friendly with great service.
As a 6 foot tall man, I would prefer not to have a raised bed end, but that is just a minor point.

Location excellent, a short 20 minute walk into the centre. A quiet, rural setting.
We were lucky to find a parking space the second time we tried. It is free parking because it is street parking, not on site. We did not get a good night's sleep as the bed was very uncomfortable, a wooden slat seemed to have come loose.
