Great hotel
Great location
Great staff
Noisy if Saturday night but didn’t bother us
It’s a very old building which means the floors are uneven. Wasn’t a problem for us but I can see this being an issue for people with mobility issues. The uneven floors were pointed out to us when we were showed to Our room though

Staff very pet friendly and helpful. Very close to a park for dog exercise., although some local dog walkers not so nice! Right in town centre so very handy to wonder the quirky streets..
My chair in the bar/restaurant was in great need of a new seat, most uncomfortable. Bed on soft side but ok

Great building, lovely staff.
No drinking water provided in the room, no herbal teas.
No gluten free vegan breakfast despite being informed at booking stage
