Location was amazing! Bedroom, especially the bed was great.
Breakfast was nice but rather rushed when we arrived with only 30 minutes left we felt like a burden and were rushed to finish by staff.

The room was lovely and well equipped. Had everything I could possibly need. The building was also impressive and is located opposite Reading Railway station which was so convenient for attending the Rewind weekend festival in Henley on Thames.
A couple of niggles. The feather pillows were not comfortable and the hotel was unable to provide more choices of vegetarian food on its late night room service menu. But the hotel reception was responsive and did deliver a new pillow to my room and staff were friendly and personable.

Location, room size
Lighting in bathroom was quite dark and no additional light meant shaving was quite difficult. I paid for 2 rooms at check in but when my friends went to leave before me they were told there was no record of payment. I understand there were some technical issues with their payment system at check in, but perhaps would have been useful to either note on the system: paid, or follow a system whereby all guests pay at check in so there’s no confusion.
