The hotel is under new management and is currently undergoing refurbishment, which will take time and money. I’m very glad to see someone with a passion and vision to restore the building steeped in history and character That aside I found the booking process for my single room very easy Upon arriving the manager and her staff were very professional, polite and extremely customer focused, they are and will be a credit to the restoration of this fantastic facility, My room was clean, tidy and well prepared, at present the hotel is a no thrills great value for money option and I would/ will return.

The only real downside to my stay would be the low speed/ quality of internet provision, but hopefully this will be addressed within the refurbishment The off road free parking although available is small

Staff was great! They lock up the parking for the night so it's very secure

A little hot with no fan

I was aware that the hotel was being refurbished but just needed a place to stay with parking. The manager Sanjina was kind, helpful and efficient from the moment I arrived. A really lovely person, full of energy. The room was spacious and very clean with a very comfortable bed. The whole building retains many of its original features and will, I'm sure, be quite a place to visit once finished. In the meantime it offered all I needed at a very reasonable price. Parking is limited but very close, at the back of the building.
