Location in centre of Masham is excellent. As great pubs and breweries in walking distance. Plenty of parking available. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. Very comfortable beds and crisp, clean bedding. Spacious powerful shower with hot water. All staff exceptionally friendly and helpful.
It is a very old building with bags of character and history. However it is in need of renovation. Although the hotel is generally clean the skirtings, window frames, ledges ect were dusty, scuffed and mildewy.

Great pub in the middle of Masham, couldn't have a better location. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and tasty breakfast, and the beds were super comfortable. The only thing to be aware of is if your rooms are in one of the beautifully renovated buildings out the back, you may find your bedroom is on the first floor and the toilet on the ground floor. But you will also have a super peaceful sleep!

The bedroom was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable - the pillows were great too. The linen was spotless, as were the towels. The tea/coffee tray was adequate and the toiletries in the bathroom were lovely.
Unfortunately the room smelt very musty and damp which was not good, and the bathroom, whilst clean, smelt even worse of damp.

The bed was comfortable. The food was very nice . The location ideal.. they also changed my mum's room from the top to the lower level as she has arthritis.
I didn't like the shower over the bath . For older people!!
