The location of the hotel is the best one, in the main square of the city, very close to anything. Room was big, comfortable and with a very nice view on the Toural square. Breakfast is good, looks like in cafe (you order the food). Interned speed is excellent.

Good location, in the heart of the city center. Rooms where clean with AC. Breakfast was very good, with very friendly staff.

Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very kind and helpful, especially the breakfast staff. The front desk staff were also very kind, cheerful and respectful. They were always ready to help.
Bathroom was not cleaned well, especially bidet when I got the room the first day. From second day, it was cleaned well. There was no bottled water in the room. The carpets had no padding. No chair or table to put the computer and work. Plug points were not conducive to charge the computers while working. If the intent is to just stay and enjoy (and not bring work), this place is excellent.

They allow smoking in the central atrium area, not nice if you are in a room adjacent.

My wife and I stayed in the Hotel Toural in Guimarães for one night during a holiday in Portugal. The hotel is located in the old city and a few minutes’ walk from all the main points of interest. Guimarães was our favourite city during our tour of northern Portugal.
Our room was clean and comfortable with a separate seating area and a great view of the Toural square. The staff were amazing and the breakfast was very good.
Recommended.
We struggled to find the entrance, even with our GPS but once found, the staff were very helpful finding a free parking space for our car in the adjacent street.

No chargestation at bed, old windows with strange handling, keen of hearing, less sausage and cheese variety, just 5 places for free parking in front (garage 200m away)

Excellent price, great location. Friendly staff, very good breakfast. Walking distance to everything in town. Our small but very adequate room had two small balconies with doors opening to the lovely square . We had everything we needed.
A couple of times, a/c & heater became noisy. We needed to turn it off. Also, some banging noises in the morning and evening. Staff was notified and could never figure out where it was coming from. Not horrible nor continuous but a bit annoying. Everything else good.
