The room was basic but perfectly acceptable although I would not have shared it with anyone - it was a double with single occupancy. But at least the television worked and I got BBC World News - all too often hotel remotes are a night mare. The breakfast was good - self service buffet with pretty well everything you could want. The location was fine although about a block and a half too far from what I regard as the edge of the old city - I walk with a stick and it was a hike from the three bridges but have to say I never felt unsafe walking home in the evening. I did find the staff very obliging

I found the fact that the reception was on the seventh floor a bit of a problem as there did seem when you got there and wanted to sit outside on the roof terrace or the lounge that there were some very steep stairs with inadequate handrails to be negotiated. My room was on the 6th floor so there was a lot of waiting for the lift to take me up, then back down again and while one needed the plastic card to access my room floor - it was also the key to my room - I could never work out when the door to the floor would be locked.

Close to city center. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

Small bathroom. Needed more outlets for charging devices near beds.

Cafe downstairs.

The room was depressing and the view is the police station.
