Only people on reception staff and manager on Hotel was make our stay better ,we just don’t like it at all .
We just don’t feel 5 star no beach, everywhere stairs don’t feel any wibe somebody like it but this Hotel wasn’t for us! We feel like we are in military Hospital 🏥 This only our feelings not everyone is same.

Beautiful setting hotel.
Parking in hotel.
No pickup of luggage upon checking out.

Nice, large rooms, easy access to the beach, large garage
There are no long walking pathes of 1km+, as the hotel territory is isolated from the rest of the shore line.

Location was amazing, beach is very comfortable. All staff is very friendly and ready to be helpful any second.
The prices is local supermarket and restaurants are very overpriced.

The views. The well thought about bedrooms. The wardrobe & storage space with separate dressing table area was excellent. Plenty light, mirrors & storage. Comfortable beds & excellent curtains.
The pool bar service was sometimes a little slow for food. I didn’t use my phone on holiday so didn’t wish to order by scanning the bar code. There was a little confusion over this.

It was exceptional. Worth the price.
Breakfast buffet was expensive.

Views, entertainment, breakfast, staff friendly, rooms clean and gorgeous views. Particularly liked the adult pool for views and comfortable sun loungers.
Prices for snacks, ice creams and drinks were expensive. Shuttle bus is advertised to get into Dubrovnik old town, this is not complimentary and is 30 euros for a return journey. Location of the hotel is 14km from Dubrovnik which may suit some but for us was too far out with only public buses running a few times a day and taking over an hour each way.

All the facilities are perfect and well maintained
We liked the sports center, pools, beatch, room
In my opinion, 25 eur for a person for one breakfast is too high

The pools were great, including food and drink service. The restaurants were all fantastic. The watersports and access to the Old City were outstanding too. All with great friendly service. The kids club was phenomenal...our 7 and 5 year-old kids loved it and it bought my wife and I some much appreciated down time at the adults only pool.
It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. Would recommend this in a heartbeat.

Rooms was great and we had a lovely view of the sea. The hotel, even though it is big, didn't seem overcrowded. There was plenty of sunbed space at the pools and the 'beach'. Breakfast was great and again there was plenty of space outside to eat on the terrace. The staff were VERY helpful and friendly.
Check in time is a little late at 4pm.

Hotel was fantastic with wonderful views. The deluxe room with sea view was amazing and there was plenty of room at the swimming pools. Breakfast was fantastic with a great range of options. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
The location does not allow for walking to any other facilities. For example, there is no pharmacy in or near the hotel so you need to get a taxi if you require a pharmacy as there are limited footpaths to the next town.
There isn’t a great choice of restaurants in the hotel. Yes there are 5 however, most are not serving meals that will suit children. A lot of “fine dining”. Only 1 Italian which most people went to. A subsidised bus to the town would be great as visitors could have a better choice of restaurants.
The hotel hosted a couple of company conferences while we were there and there was noise from these people late onto the night.

We loved everything about our 4 night stay and would not hesitate to book again. The location is magnificent and the customer service we received from everyone was exceptional.
Thank you for making our stay so special.
Nothing.

Overall it was very nice resort with lot of amenities at your disposal. It was bit off season so it was less crowded, which was actually good, but also not so good because the children weren't able to meet other kids.
Breakfast has a large selection of options. Lunch options were limited to 2 restaurants, since nothing else was open. We could order room service food at the bar, which was nice. Rooms are big and we got an upgrade a Delux suite, which had super large terrace overlooking the sea. Gym was fully functional and nice, and so did the SPA! it was fabulous. Staff at the Grill and Pasta restaurants went above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied. Kudos to that. Staff was friendly and approachable. We even got an late checkout until 3pm which was such a nice gesture.
Room and kitchen could have been better equipped, just 1 TV in a 2 BHK apartment to share. Beds were not very comfortable and not enough cupboards or drawers to store your valuables. Very few electronic sockets to charge your batteries. Coffee maker is a must for resorts, but they only had the french press :(
Marketplace at the resort is over priced, actually everything is over priced at Dubrovnik, add 5* to it, then it gets way over pricey. Dinner and Lunch are very very expensive, but thats normal for a 5* but didn't match the quality.
Indoor pool and jacuzzi could be a bit warmer, was not very pleasant.
Please avoid is the Travel agency at the hotel. They are so unfriendly and unhelpful. We made a mistake with our ferry timing and we had to catch a ferry in 20 mins, but the staff "Ana" at the Travel agency was so lazy and super rude. She is unfit to be sitting at that reception. Refused to call us a taxi, unless we paid 50 EUR upfront, to even make a move, and even that she was sooooooo slow. There was a resort taxi just waiting outside, but she said that they had already called another one which would arrive in 15 mins and refused to use the the taxi guy sitting outside. We were literally pleading her, since we have children and the next ferry is not until the next day, but she was just unmovable and un courteous. I think the agency should take strong action on her. I will call them separately to make a formal compliant, as she almost ruined our holidays. BTW, UBER to old town is like 20 eur one way, and that's only option if you need to go to the old town, pay 50 eur each way with travel agency. Property is very remote, nothing around it.

Really enjoyed my stay, it's my third time back at Sun Gardens. It's truly a special place.
I saw a child (young girl) go into the adults only portion of the spa. Wouldn't have been to bad but a grown man was in there. I think the staff should be more mindful to ensure children are not in adult only spaces.
