Novotel Citygate Hong Kong

So near the airport and free transportation by a shuttle bus back and forth. Also so easy to visit Disneyland Hong Kong by a train only 2 stops!

Hard to find any...maybe leaving!

The staff were friendly, accommodating and always happy to answer our questions. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome and our stay enjoyable.

stayed for lay over. staff very polite. room as advertised. good view. breakfast buffet was fine. liked how the hotel was connected to the mall. shuttle bus was efficient and driver was nice. gym had free weights, benches, tread mill and elliptical machine. cable machine was broken.

room was a little dated/old but honestly it was acceptable and fine.

Good location being at the start of the Tung Chung MTR line and only 10 minutes from the airport. The hotel is part of the Citygate shopping mall so there are endless shops and restaurants nearby. The shower was ok and the bed, while small, was comfortable enough. The breakfast was ok with quite a big selection on offer and a nice lady cooking omelettes.

It’s very old and way past time for renovation. A piece of gaffer tape was used to seal one end of the carpet in our room. The rooms are very small so no space to do anything other than sleep. The air in the room also felt stale. We paid extra for a premium room with lounge access on the understanding that we would have breakfast but this turned out not to be the case as the lounge only opens from 3pm to 9pm. There was very little of interest food wise but they had Japanese beer on tap and Chinese wine. The Japanese lady in the lounge was very helpful. We stayed for three nights but to be honest one night was be ok while three was too long given the high prices they charge.
