Mercure Nantes Centre Gare

Great decoration, beautiful rooms, fantastic breakfast, very friendly staff, and an excellent location with a great quality-to-price ratio. We have recommended this hotel to many other people, and if we go back to Nantes, we will definitely stay there again. Much better value for money than the majority of 4-star hotels in Western Europe.

Easy location next to the train station wasn’t get to from the airport on the shuttle bus which stopped directly outside of the hotel.

Limited staff seem to be busy in restaurant and covering the bar and reception, also saw some used plates cutlery outside of a room that had not been moved by lunch the next day.

The check‑in process was smooth and straightforward, which made arriving at the hotel very pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The room itself was slightly on the smaller side, and there was a bit of noise from the nearby train station at times, but neither issue significantly affected the stay. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with good service and a comfortable atmosphere.

The location next to the station and airport bus

The room was very small about 40 cm from the end of the bed to the wall The lighting was very dark . We asked for twin beds . We were given twins but each bed was next to each other . Basically you would be sharing a bed . We had to move furniture about to create a gap . Eat in the restaurant. Food very mediocre. I would not recommend . We only ate there as we were tired . The best you could say about the meals was that it was good and filled you . The hotel certainly would not be a 4 star in Ireland. It was similar to a basic ibis or Premier Inn . Staff were pleasant
