The staff are 10/10 and polite and respectful across the board. I am so incredibly thankful as they made my birthday very special and I will not forget it. They were always available for any issues and always dealt these with a smile. It is the simple things like staff members, pausing when you walk past in the hall, that highlight everything about the way the staff are here. The beach is nice and relaxing and the water calm. The day beds at the beach are incredibly comfortable and you genuinely can lay there all day. They have a pool area too for those wanting a more upbeat vibe. The room I was upgraded to was nice and spacious with a bed that felt like a dream. It has a nice balcony to watch the city pass at night. It also had a cool built in couch area which was spacious and comfortable and a great spot to eat, watch TV or simply sprawl out. The bathroom is also well equipped with plenty of mirrors and good lighting. The towels and robes in the room were also so soft. The hotel also has lots of amenities including a barbers and salon, sauna and gym and several restaurants which just mean you have everything you need in one place.

I had to move rooms as the firealarm was randomly flashing 15-20times consecutively, which was very noticeable at night. As result I was moved to the room next door which unfortunately was a little worse for wear. These rooms are supposed to be the newly updated rooms but this one had scratches across the floor as if several suitcases were having a catfight on the floor. The wall paper was peeling off in several areas and one of the sockets also was poking out of the wall instead of being flush. Lastly the room had a lingering scent of cigarettes which was just embedded in to the room and noticeable as soon as you enter. I think this has to be the main negative as my issue with the firealarm was not being understood and then the rooms seem a little hit and miss. Also the beach is in front of two tall building residences which kind of feels a bit weird on initial impressions.
