They upgraded us to a bigger room, which was great. The view from our room faced the pedestrian sidewalk, and the room was very quiet. Everything was excellent!
The food at the restaurant was Ok. I ordered fried chicken and got mostly fried chicken bones. We exchanged our room cleaning for couple of cocktail. When we tried to use the vouchers they had many restrictions, so it was a bit disappointing.

Perfect location in a historical building.
Air conditioning smelled moldy (the front desk took note of it), food leftovers under our breakfast table.

The hotel is in excellent location.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and spacious enough for 1 person
There are no cover sheets. There is only a heavy doona which it totally wrong for this time of year.
There is no aircon, not even a fan. Window cannot be opened to let some cool air in during the night. Curtains cannot be closed properly during the day. As a result, the room was very hot the whole time I was there, day and night. I simply could get a good nights sleep.
To make it worse, there is no fridge in the room meaning that I couldn't even have a cold drink.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel in summer months. It might be ok during cooler months.
